Identify and prioritize target accounts and industry verticals within the energy and utility sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts, including C-level executives, IT/OT managers, and security personnel.
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share for our OT cybersecurity solutions & services.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, techno-commercial proposals, and quotations.
Conduct trainings for internal teams, channel partners and customers.
Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract closure.
Sales forecasting, pipeline management, maintaining sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
Track progress against sales targets and provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to OT cybersecurity (e.g., IEC 62443, CEAP cybersecurity regulations).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, or related field), or equivalent experience is essential
At least 5 years proven track record of successful business development and sales experience in the cybersecurity domain, specifically within OT environments.
Key to success of this role is strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and other critical infrastructure technologies within the energy and utility sectors.
Knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NERC CIP) is essential
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and business audiences.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
Desired characteristics
Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time. Travel is predominantly within CEAP region and world-wide on occasions.
Willingness to work beyond normal working hours to coordinate with worldwide teams.
Experience selling complex software and services solutions.
