Job Summary
- To regulate and manage the operation of alarm and surveillance system.
- To ensure daily efficiency of all alarm systems and that all equipment and cameras are functioning and records are updated in accordance to standard operating procedure and existing administrative instructions.
Duties and Responsibility
- To deter and prevent crime through CCTV surveillance and monitoring for all shopping blocks, open car parks and multi-storey car parks.
- To monitor all accessible gates and doors to make sure that they are secured and no unauthorized persons are trespassing after business hours.
- To be polite, courteous when answering calls and maintain a good liaison with shoppers and to be ready to provide the necessary assistance when required.
- To ensure daily efficiency of all alarm systems and that all equipment and cameras are functioning and recording properly.
- To ensure daily efficiency of all radio and line communication and that they are checked daily.
- All faults and breakdown are to be reported and monitored.
- All information, documents and recordings obtained are to be treated with confidentiality and that CCTV recordings are only allowed with approval of Security Manager.
- To be well versed with the building plan, and procedures on the execution of immediate action drill and evacuation.
- To be well versed with emergency response procedure during an emergency situation.
- To maintain close rapport with all emergency agencies.
- Maintenance of all records, document and all information are updated.
- Ensure that access to the CCTV Control Room will be strictly limited to authorized staff only.
- To ensure strict compliance with existing standard Operating Procedure and administrative instructions.
- To perform any other duties as directed from time to time.
- To deter shoppers with non-compliance new normal SOP as wearing facemask and grouping or gathered through CCTV surveillance and monitoring for all shopping blocks, open car parks and multi-storey car parks.
