What You’ll Achieve
As a Solution Architect , you will be part of our internal Cybersecurity organization, contributing significant security expertise across various projects. You will develop and communicate security policies, standards, and guidelines, interacting with all organizational levels, especially within Dell IT.
You will:
- Provide security guidance on projects, ensuring compliance with Dell’s security policies and standards.
- Define security requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions adhere to these standards.
- Consult with architects, developers, engineers, and project managers to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Analyze existing practices to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Maintain documentation of engagements, solutions, and identified risks.
- Create architectural artifacts and solutions based on business needs and security roadmaps.
- Document security solutions for identified gaps during client engagements.
- Ensure stakeholder approval of use cases and architectural artifacts.
- Support proactive security architecture based on business and risk needs.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and technical assessments.

Essential Requirements
- 8+ years in information security/cybersecurity with knowledge of application, cloud, and network security.

Desirable Requirements

Support proactive security solution architecture for identified areas based on Business, Domain, or Risk needs.
Conduct comprehensive security architecture design reviews and technical assessments.
8 + years of experience in information security/cybersecurity with foundational knowledge of general application, cloud, and network security concepts.
Strong knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies, including Information security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Strong Technical Skills with an engineering background.
Foundational knowledge of risk management principles including identifying risks and solutions/remediations for minimizing.
Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative and actionable manner.

This key individual will be the technical lead for SMART Factory aspirations including Automation, Operational Technology (OT) systems and Level 3 process control leadership.
This is a critical role and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Engineer with high energy to join the existing team. This is a great development and career opportunity for someone who wants to progress in to an Engineering Leadership role.
You will be the technical lead for SMART Factory aspirations including Automation, Operational Technology (OT) systems and Level 3 process control leadership.
What You'll Do
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment including leading by example in the development of and adherence to safe systems of work.
- Process Control leadership to ensure automated systems meet the technical and quality requirements.
- Development and continuous improvement of OT systems and equipment in line with site master plan.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of automation equipment, L3 systems, data loggers and other OT systems.
- Deliver Engineering to a high Industrial standard with a focus of safety in design.
- Provides mentoring of Instrumentation technicians to ensure a system is in place for inspection, calibration and repair of all instrumentation devices including transmitter, transducer, control valve etc. within the area of responsibilities.
- Ensure all software and hardware of PLC, DCS, VSD and PC are available and that an effective maintenance strategy is in place.
- Degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in Project Engineering of Automation systems, instrumentation and control.
- Experience in heavy industry or complex manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy industrial control equipment; PLC or DCS, Closed Loop Control and Instrumentation
- Understands safety rated automation and hardware requirements, ensures systems are in place to maintain safety ratings
- Has experience of implementing quality management systems and enforcing safety and environmental regulations.
- Able to initiate, propose and execute continuous improvement and development initiatives in OT systems to support Digitalization efforts.
