In this role, you’re expected to:
- The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1 is level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Process securities transactions, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products
- Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues, and make process improvement recommendations to leadership
- Analyze moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements, aid in control activities, and contribute to the launch of product services
- Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements
- Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
- Design and analyze moderately complex reports, in coordination with standards set by direct leadership
- Assist with control activities, and the launch of new products and services
- Ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
- Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of macros
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance

The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from clients in coordination with the Operations - Collective Investment Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the order placement, settlement and investigation of Mutual Funds, Time Deposits, Private Equities, and Alternate Assets transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Process securities transactions, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of Mutual Funds, Time Deposits, Private Equities, and Alternate Assets transactions
- Identify and resolve securities and managed fund settlement issues, and make process improvement recommendations to leadership
- Analyze moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements, aid in control activities, and contribute to the launch of product services
- Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements
- Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
- Design and analyze moderately complex reports, in coordination with standards set by direct leadership
- Assist with control activities, and the launch of new products and services
- Ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Reporting to the Middle Office Accounting Manager, the Middle Office accounting senior analyst is responsible for a range of Middle Office accounting and valuations activity, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, policies and guidelines and timely completion of accurate Net Asset Valuations.

- Perform end-to-end Billing process and implement control functions to ensure correct invoicing within the specified SLA
- Provide timely and accurate delivery of bills, MIS, procedures, charge tables, logs, etc to fulfil its internal and external obligations
- Provide prompt and professional advice to regional branches to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
- Participate in system and client testing to implement global strategy and fulfil business needs.
- Work with Branches in evaluating client's needs and proposing solutions to implement new business deals.
- Work with Customer Service Officer and internal parties to investigate and resolve customer queries and issues ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Initiate and streamline process relating to controls, productivity and regional service enhancements including workflow and procedures
- Identify and resolve business/technical issues together with branches and system support group.
- Ensure effective controls and compliance
- Adhere to corporate policies and participate in self-assessment, quality reviews and audit and recommend solutions for potential risks and issues
- Support and participate in User Acceptance Test for enhancements and new initiatives
- Act as back-up if needed
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- Minimum 2 years experience in
- Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or related field2 years experience in operations preferred. Experience in billing processing, securities operations, banking, or customer service will be an added advantage
