We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analyst.
Global Change Delivery (GCD) Business Analysts are at the centre of how GCD shapes, delivers and embeds change working with the business and our delivery partners. They are typically responsible for Requirements Management, Design, Change Management and Implementation Management. Business Analysts work collaboratively with delivery partners and subject matter experts in gathering, translating and clarifying requirements and defining design options. In systems related projects and programmes, the role holder will support Software Delivery and IT Operations with the translation of business requirements and designs into more detailed functional requirements and designs, often representing the voice of the customer and business in these discussions. The Business Analyst’s Change Management activities span from early change planning and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g., communications, training, support, organisation alignment); and tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback. Business Analysts are also responsible for Implementation Management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change ‘product’, focusing on accelerating benefits and minimising risk during deployment. Implementation activities will also include managing implementation readiness and managing the early stages of implementation (e.g. pilot). In reengineering projects, they work closely with the Process Consultants in analysing and re-engineering world class business processes.Business Analysts will often lead design workstreams or teams, managing other GCD Analysts, SMEs and resources from our delivery partners.
What you’ll do:
- Content heavy role – Business Analysts must demonstrate strong business knowledge and sound business sense, and stay abreast of the industry, business-wise and technology-wise.
- Stakeholder complexity – Business Analyst will often need to gather requirements and agree designs across business stakeholders, dealing with different interests and resolving disagreements and conflicts, and sometimes needing to challenge poor requirements and design decisions. They will often attend and lead these meetings or workshops with no GCD supervision.
- Multi-disciplinary – Business Analysts need to able to shape business requirements and solution designs.

- Questions small-scale business decisions that do not demonstrate alignment to the Group’s commercial strategy.
- Anticipates issues and risks and acts to mitigate these quickly; handles any unforeseen roadblocks swiftly and effectively.
- Thinks ahead to identify potential risks to service or performance and deals with them proactively; effectively manages review processes to identify quality issues early.
- Builds effective working relationships with analysis and design teams in our delivery partners and works well with external.
Operational Performance:
- Defines requirements management processes and designs detailed business solutions and structures based on business requirements; challenges business intent in a constructive manner.
- Identifies areas of impact on the target operating model and designs activities to mitigate impact.
- Manages requirements traceability through design and delivery.
- Utilises financial skills to develop a high level business case, considering investment and high level benefits.
- Manages the change implementation activities, including business readiness assessment (i.e. avoiding multiple change clashes), implementation pilot (including approach and checklists) and actual implementation (including reporting status and issues).
- Manages the change audience through the commitment curve with communications, training and development.
- Supports reengineering of processes, where process is one of the many parts of the change, and provides detailed guidance on process design (considering risk, end-to-end and cost).
- Supports the programme management with impact assessment for change requests on design, scope, time, budget or effort on programme plan and provides accurate estimates for handling new requirements, design changes and scope.
- Supports project or programme resourcing activities.
- Allocates tasks and objectives to other analysts on a project or programme.
Capability and People Development:
- Identifies and shares the resource requirements of the project, to the Program Manager requesting the appropriate skill set and/or experience.
- Defines high level responsibilities and objectives for members of their project team and ensure the individuals are being used in accordance with their skills and resource request.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent communication abilities.

- To work with various desks in Treasury to prepare and document business requirements.
- To work with internal GT and IT vendor to document end to end system architecture.
- To have good clear communication skills to interpret business requirements and ensure accurate execution by IT vendor.
- To understand and prepare if required relational schematic documentation.
- To review the functional and technical specification documentation of the project and ensure functionality / technical specifications meet the business requirements.
- To analyze data migration requirements from existing systems and map it to the new system. To document the data transformation from source to new system.
- To differentiate and carry out analysis of the issues raised by users and suggest appropriate action and resolution and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- To work closely with project PM/PMO/GT throughout the project period to ensure timely delivery by managing the responsibilities of Treasury users
- Hands-on experience with Murex trading platform desirable, especially in trade booking, lifecycle events, and integration workflows.
- Proficiency in JIRA for agile project tracking and Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, banking, or technology domains.

SKILLS
Must have
- 8+ years of Business Analysis & UAT experience in Capital Markets domain experience
- Strong Financial Markets / Investment Bank experience; able to analyse business problems and design operating models producing process flow diagrams, and risk assessments
- Financial Markets domain knowledge (FX, Rates, Commodities, Credit, Equities)
- FM Trade types (FX Spot, Forward, Swaps, IRS, CDO, Options, Repo, Bonds etc) and systems like Murex, S2BX or equivalent FX trading platforms, Order Management systems.
- Good Analytical skills
- Expertise in writing BRD and FSD
- Work on the data migration requirement from existing systems to the new developed system and document any data transformation required as inputs to the new system.
- Bridge the gap between Treasury's business desks and stakeholders with vendor.
- Keep a close eye on the defect list and ensure that vendor understands the defects. To work with end users and vendor to close off any unresolved defects.

Key Responsibilities
Engage proactively with stakeholders to understand, gather, and analyze business needs, translating them into clear and actionable requirements.
Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and development units to ensure alignment of business goals and technical solutions.
Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders to validate requirements, define project scope, and gather feedback.
Produce and maintain comprehensive business and functional specification documents tailored to development and QA teams.
Collaborate closely with developers, UI/UX designers, and testers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
Manage and prioritize change requests while ensuring all updates are clearly documented and communicated across teams.
Support development and testing teams in clarifying requirements, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth handovers.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gather feedback from stakeholders, and track issues through to resolution.
Maintain strong communication and collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to foster transparency and project success.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in business analysis, systems development, or product lifecycle roles—preferably in a fast-paced or agile development environment.
Strong proficiency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and business stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical and business information.
Strong analytical thinking, critical problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other productivity tools.
Working knowledge of business analysis techniques such as requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder analysis.
Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts).
Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Exposure to SQL/MySQL and data querying for business insight is a plus.
Understanding of modern systems architecture such as APIs, microservices, and XML is an added advantage.
Certification such as IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) or equivalent is a plus.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing changing priorities in dynamic environments.

About the Role
The Business Analyst supports the business planning team in preparing, analyzing, and distributing monthly management reports for various brands and countries. Responsibilities include financial performance reviews, variance analysis, collaboration with accounting for accuracy, and assisting in budget preparation. - Prepare and assist in monthly management report by brand and country.
- Review financial performance by performing profit and loss variance analysis against budget and prior year, trend analysis, and provide quality insights and commentaries.
- Liaise and collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile, analyse, and ensure accuracy of overall monthly management report.
- Ensure monthly management reports are correctly and timely prepared and published to brands/countries.
- Assist in reviewing brands/countries budgets and forecasts submissions, with necessary justifications.
- Assist in consolidation of budget and forecast after brands/countries’ submission.
- Assist in coordinating budget timeline and submission among departments.
- Assist other members of the team in preparing ad-hoc store benchmarking reports, occupancy report, financial data analysis, presentations for the management and all finance matters.
- Actively participate in on-going projects of the team and propose new relevant projects.
- Process and financial systems maintenance and improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Must possess Degree in Finance and Accounting (Professional Qualification will be added advantage).
- Professional Experience: Comes with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably commercial finance/business analysis experience in retail/FMCG industry.
- Personal attributes:
