Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf a global FMCG leader offering a portfolio of ingredients, flavors, and integrated solutions. Our distinguished client is seeking for a skilled MDG (Master Data Governance) Business Analyst.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in data management and analysis, with a focus on MDG systems. The candidate will also have proven experience configuring MDG and be comfortable making configuration changes in the MDG system and moving changes through to production systems.

As an MDG Business Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our master data. You will also work with other technical teams in ICT such as ABAP, Basis, Data Governance and the SAP functional teams in Finance and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities * Collaborate with business users to gather and document requirements for the MDG solution * Support the design and implementation of MDG including SAP ECC and MDG configuration changes via transports and in client configuration * Design and implement UI features in NWBC in the MDG system * Design and implement MDG workflow changes and updates * Design and implement interface/iDoc structure changes and creating/updating interfaces (using SFTP, RFCs and SAP iDocs etc) * Work closely with the ABAP team on customisations (RICEFWs) and also collaborate closely with the SAP Basis team as required * Analyze and map data flows to ensure data integration and consistency across systems * Ensure all changes and updates to MDG are tested prior to go live and provide post go live support for features implemented * Ensure documentation for our MDG solution is accurate and up-to-date * Monitor and report on data quality metrics and performance indicators * Assist with the resolution of data-related issues and ensure timely resolution of BAU (Business As Usual) issue

Key Job requirements include : * Degree in an ICT or other related discipline * Extensive experience in a similar role and environment with exposure to SAP MDG (1-3 years) * Proven experience configuring MDG and managing changes through to a production environment * Stakeholder Management/Business Engagement experience * Comprehensive Project Management experience * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders * People Management experience * Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices/ data management tools and technologies

• Has experience in SAP S/4 HANA would be a plus.

• Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP MDG implementation projects
• Strong understanding of SAP MDG Data Models (BP, Material, Vendor, Finance, etc.)

Visit us at an Application Architect, you will provide functional and/or technical expertise to plan, analyze, define, and support the delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for an application or group of applications.

You will assist in facilitating impact assessment efforts and in producing and reviewing estimates for client work requests.

In this role, you are expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform, and be responsible for team decisions.

You will also engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions. Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.

Develop innovative strategies to optimize application functionality

Lead and mentor team members to ensure successful project delivery

Identify and resolve technical issues and provide guidance on best practices

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Experience in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool

Experience in Data Access, Data Engineering, Data Migrations, Data Pipelines, and Data Processing expertise at an Expert level are recommended

• Take responsibility for the process, functional and technical design in SAP projects for Master Data Governance.

• Become and advocate in cbs MDV (cbs proprietary product for Master Data Validation).

• Conduct top-down workshops to advise and direct our clients on S/4HANA feasibility.

• Drive end-to-end project activities within the Asia-Pacific region.

• Support pre-sales activities in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or any other science topic.

• At least 8 years of professional experience in the area of Master Data Management.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the area of SAP MDG and understanding integration topics to other modules.

• Hands-on project experience in S/4HANA and general interest in concepts like IoT, Big Data, Blockchain.

• Knowledge in programming languages such as ABAP is an advantage.

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
