Job Summary:
We are undergoing a strategic technical transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA and is looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP Integration Senior Consultant to drive the integration of SAP S/4HANA with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and other critical systems. This position is a Technical Consultant role, where the consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite, ensuring seamless data flow between SAP S/4HANA, third-party applications, and other enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Process Orchestration, and cloud-based integration technologies, along with hands-on experience in designing and managing integration solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.
Key Job Responsibilities:
SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP Integration:
- Senior Consultant the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP Integration Suite, and third-party applications/systems.
- Architect integration solutions that ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability between SAP S/4HANA and various systems using the SAP BTP Integration Suite (including SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Process Orchestration, and API Management).
- Implement and manage data exchange mechanisms between SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP, ensuring seamless integration for business processes such as finance, procurement, logistics, and HR.
- Leverage SAP Integration Suite components such as SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management, SAP Open Connectors, and SAP Data Intelligence to enable business-critical data flows.
- Develop and implement API-first integration strategies using SAP API Management and SAP Integration Suite.
Integration Design and Architecture:
- Senior Consultant the end-to-end design of integration architecture for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP, including detailed technical designs, mapping of business requirements to technical components, and defining best practices for integration.
- Architect solutions for real-time, batch, and hybrid integrations that align with business requirements, scalability, and performance needs.
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA with both cloud and on-premise systems, ensuring smooth data flows and maintaining the integrity of business processes.
- Ensure data consistency and transformation in integrations, leveraging SAP Data Intelligence for data processing and transformation across systems.
Cloud and Hybrid Integration:
- Manage and maintain the integration of SAP S/4HANA with cloud-based applications and other systems, leveraging SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, and various cloud-native technologies.
- Senior Consultant the design and implementation of hybrid cloud integration strategies, balancing on-premise and cloud resources to optimize performance and data flows.
- Ensure that integrations comply with cloud architecture standards, integrating SAP systems seamlessly with services on SAP BTP and third-party cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
API Management and Security:
- Oversee the configuration and management of SAP API Management, ensuring that APIs are securely exposed, monitored, and consumed by internal and external systems.
- Design and implement security protocols for SAP S/4HANA and BTP integration, ensuring the safe exchange of data across all integrated systems.
- Manage API lifecycle, ensuring proper versioning, governance, and documentation.
- Implement industry best practices for API security, including authentication and authorization, using tools such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
Process Automation and Orchestration:
- Senior Consultant the design and implementation of business process automation using SAP Process Orchestration, SAP Workflow, and SAP Intelligent RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA with other process automation platforms to optimize end-to-end business processes.
- Automate the integration of critical business workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency across systems.
Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Continuously monitor the performance of integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and other systems, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Implement monitoring solutions using SAP Solution Manager and other monitoring tools to ensure the health of the integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring minimal business disruption and maintaining system uptime.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure that integration solutions align with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to ensure that integrated business processes and systems meet the requirements for end-users and stakeholders.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Ensure thorough documentation of integration solutions, including system designs, mapping specifications, integration flows, and security models.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge base for integration best practices, error handling, troubleshooting techniques, and performance optimization for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
- Provide knowledge transfer and technical training to internal teams and business users on integration processes, tools, and solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement of SAP integration processes, evaluating and incorporating new tools, technologies, and approaches to improve integration efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with SAP's latest offerings in the BTP and integration areas, including new features, updates, and best practices.
Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all integration solutions comply with internal governance, data protection, and regulatory standards.
- Work with the security and compliance teams to ensure that all integrations meet the necessary legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Required Experience, Qualification and Certifications:
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP integration, with at least 4-5 years of experience specifically in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA integration, including real-time, batch, and hybrid integration scenarios.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP API Management, and SAP Process Orchestration.
- Extensive experience in integrating SAP S/4HANA with third-party applications, legacy systems, and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with other integration tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar platforms is a plus.
Educational Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP Integration Suite, and SAP Cloud Integration (SAP CPI) are highly desirable.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, OData, and IDoc for SAP S/4HANA integration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP API Management, including managing API proxies, security, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud-based integrations and hybrid architecture using SAP BTP, including cloud-native services like SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Open Connectors, and SAP Integration Suite.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and integration points.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration of SAP with these platforms.
Process and Methodologies:
- Experience working in Agile development environments and managing complex integration projects.

Synchronizes all the operations involved in the successful completion of a particular project. Supports and enhances customer relationships. Demonstrates technical capability of delivering low complexity projects. POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The PM specialist works as a direct liaison between GBS Creative Services, and the client to ensure projects are delivered on- time and within budget. The primary responsibilities of this position are to manage medium to high complexity marketing projects, taking efficiently implementation, and execution of the projects in order to ensure consistency with the Project Manager I and Program Manager direction and to being align with the company’s strategy, commitments and goals. This person will also provide project status to the Project Manager/Program Manager. The PM specialist is a highly organized and proactive profile who will manage expectations, coordinate inputs from client, and will ensure projects are completed on time.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain positive relationships by supporting stakeholders’ needs, routing approvals, and
- manage keeping both, creative resources and stakeholders on track to ensure timelines are met for
- medium to high complexity projects.
- Plan, oversee, and document all aspects of the specific project.
- Support creative portfolios from $250K to $700K income impact.
- Define and drive multiple concurrent project tasks and milestones within necessary timing.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to stakeholders and internal producers as the project evolves.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify potential challenges.
- Maintain constant communication with stakeholders and creative marketing team members.
- Regularly publish project timelines and report key summaries to project manager/program manager.
- Help project manager/program manager conduct timely follow-ups to track project deliverables from team.
