Responsibilities of the Asst Laboratory Officer include washing and sterilising used glassware, autoclaving lab consumables and decontaminating biohazard waste via autoclaves. The appointee will also be responsible in recording of daily output data, keeping the working area clean and ensuring all equipment are in good working condition as well as addressing users queries or refer them to other team members.

Purpose of the post

This position is to provide administrative support as a Research Assistant to the Director of the Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health, NUS School of Medicine. The Centre is a population health program aiming to advance women’s health in Asia and globally. The Research Assistant will work closely with the Center Director and various project stakeholders (e.g., PIs, RAs, clinics).

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage schedules of PIs, RAs, and recruitment subjects, so that projects will run optimally, incident-free, and without significant delays
2. Plan appropriate coordination strategies to manage project requirements
3. Provide effective and timely assistance to Director in managing her calendar and meetings to ensure smooth and organized workflow; Assist with matters related to Director’s participation in conferences/seminars and workshops

5. Able to develop his/her own research interest embedded in the Global Center for Asian Women’s Health and conduct relevant study analysis for manuscripts
