Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales & Marketing Intern to join our Sungai Petani team. This role combines hands-on retail experience with digital marketing execution, offering exposure to both in-store sales operations and modern customer engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Sales

• Assist customers in-store with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases.
• Support store operations including merchandising, product display, and inventory upkeep.
• Learn product knowledge (basic golf equipment types, pricing, and features) to guide customers effectively.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

Marketing & Content

• Assist in creating engaging social media content (photos, videos, captions) to showcase products and promotions.
• Support local marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to increase brand visibility.
• Monitor social media interactions, respond to inquiries, and engage with the online golf community.
• Provide input on customer preferences and market feedback to the marketing team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or related fields.
• Passion for sports or interest in golf (prior golf knowledge is a bonus but not required).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Creative mindset with familiarity in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
