Purpose
- The Downstream Reporting & Analysis Organization is a team of >1,000 colleagues providing accurate, timely and insightful analysis to deliver more and cleaner energy solutions.
- Within this organization, we are a cluster of teams in Financial Accounting and Controlling (FAC) for East region responsible for end to end Group and Statutory financial reporting activities.
- The role of Analyst is to ensure that all reporting activities & responsibilities are performed in an accurate timely and efficient manner. He or she will be responsible for closing activities and financial analysis which includes verifying financial data, making appropriate adjustments if needed; and provide financial analysis to facilitate & support business decision.
- This position will report to R&A FAC Senior Manager and will liaise with the respective FO processes across various geographical locations to deliver accurate information to group accounting & reporting system; and global metrics for R&A FAC.

What is the Role?
- R&A FAC Analyst is accountable for assigned process activities (General Leger, Group Reporting, Management Information, Statutory reporting) to be delivered in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities include:
- Support month end & quarter closing activities i.e. General Ledger close including preparation of manual journals, reasonableness review and disclosures
- Preparation of Group or/and Statutory Financial Statements (together with collection of Local Statutory Reporting deliverables and Supplementary info for entities in scope), resolving complex accounting/reporting matters.
- Ensure key datelines are met for Group, internal reporting & local statutory reporting
- Preparation of supporting analysis, statistical/government reporting, review meetings
- Ensure compliance and operational effectiveness of the controls within the area of responsibility
- Analyze key accounts in Balance Sheet (Blackline) to ensure balances are appropriately reconciled and properly supported.
- Manage control remediation initiatives and participate in statutory, internal control and system assurance audits.
- Identify and develop Continuous Improvement opportunities and sharing of knowledge/learning among team members. Corporate functions related tasks including preparing Country Chair pack, cost recovery etc.
Qualification :
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Qualifications with 4-6 years related
- working experience.
- Working knowledge & experience in SAP is an added advantage.
- Experience in handling end to end audit/local statutory reporting is an added advantage.
- Broad knowledge of financial accounting requirements (Proficiency in financial accounting practices and IFRS standards).
- Good analytical skills, meticulous and able to work independently & prioritize well. o Results oriented, fast paced, resourceful and proactive.

- Accounts Receivable (AR): Invoicing, collections, customer aging analysis.
- General Ledger (GL): Journal entries, reconciliations, monthly accruals.
- Fixed Assets Accounting: Capitalization, depreciation, disposals.
- Intercompany Transactions: Reconciliations and proper elimination for consolidation.
- Bank & Cash Management: Bank reconciliations, treasury coordination, foreign currency handling.

Responsibilities
- Provide accounting services for private equity fund clients including preparing and processing transactions and other fund accounting output for subsequent review.
- Provide support to respond to client and or investors' queries.
- Prepare fee calculations (management fees, capital call amounts, distribution amounts, carried interest and waterfall) and verifying that calculations are in accordance with the applicable fund terms.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting & finance with a preferred specialty in private equity, or a combination of audit/fund administration and private equity funds experience is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of different accounting standards (IFRS, USGAAP).

Manage Budgets
· Accounting managers monitor organizational spending and assist other managers in creating sustainable and effective budgets. You are ensure resources are properly allocated and aligned with the organization's overall financial health.
Oversee Financial Records and Reports
· Managers ensure accountants maintain accurate and compliant financial records. You also produce and submit regular reports for managers and other stakeholders. Support Director in managing all accounting, tax and financial reporting.
· Manage the management account and internal audit account within time frame.
· Be responsible for budgetary controls, review forecasts, projection, financial reporting, audit, and tax submission.
Analyze and Interpret Financial Data
· Accounting managers analyze financial information and reports to identify financial risks and opportunities. You are required looking at trends and discrepancies and offer insights to help with the decision making process.
Assist Credit Control and End Financing Matter
· Ensuring effective credit control, cash flow management, financing, and streamlined loan application processes for housing development.
· Work closely with Sales Team and assist on oversee the credit control and end financing matter.
Build Internal Staff and External Party Relationship
· Establish good working relationships with subordinates, inter-departments colleagues, Management, and relevant outsiders.
· Accounting managers should lead the accounting and finance team professionally, ensuring they produce timely and accurate work. You may provide training and mentorship to improve their team's performance.
· Coordinate with banker on daily banking matters; preparation of cash flow forecast and maintenance of bank balances.
Assist in Strategizing and Decision-Making
· Accounting managers may assist an organization in the making of financial decisions and strategies. You are required use financial data and reports to inform their insights and help the organization optimize its financial performance.
QUALIFICATION
· Candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting related field
REQUIREMENT SKILLS
· At least 2 years experiences in manager roles.
·Must have experiences handle property development (developer)/ real estate/construction industries of financing and accounting roles.
· A good team player with strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
· Must be able work for Saturday half day (Alternate).
· Solid understanding of financial management principles.
· Knowledge of risk management and compliance practices.
