We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety, Health, and Environmental to join our team. Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, bachelor's degree/Post Graduate Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
- 3 years' experience in Safety, Health and Environmental in Chemical industry is much preferable or in another related field.
- Good knowledge in ESH Regulations
- Required Skill(s): Health and Safety Standard, Management is mandatory.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

- Maintain communication with Asia Environmental Manager on issues and practices in Malaysia and Indonesia.
- Review EHS Corporate Audit reports and conduct trend analysis for environmental findings.
- Lead and support investigation on Environmental KPI and major Environmental Near Miss incidents. Provide a trend analysis and recommend areas for improvement.
- Review monthly Event Management Performance Report on Environmental and Notice of Violation Incidents and work with other Asia Region Environmental Specialists to validate the data.
- Support Global Sustainability Group to collect sustainability data. Review of sustainability data. Provide a trend analysis and recommend areas for improvement.
- Support Operations and business teams to ensure environmental requirements are complied in all projects and improvements.
- Represent Air Products Malaysia to attend Malaysia Industrial Gas Manufacturers Association's Technical Committee Meeting and Chemical Industrial Council Malaysia Regulatory Affair Meeting
- Carry out environmental system audit, site inspection and recommend Improvement where necessary and follow through with the line organization
- Attend meetings with authorities on issues encountered by operations if required.
Compliance Management role for EHS
- Attend SAP EHS Compliance Management System Meeting. Work with SAP power user on CM issue raised from Asia Operation.
Product Safety for SE Asia
- Support line organization to comply with Global Product Safety standards and meet GHS/CLASS regulation requirements.
- Establish and maintain the Product Safety programs in SEA in accordance with Air Products Global EH&S standards.
- Revise SDS and labels to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide Customer / Distributor Qualification Process support to the business.
- Provide Product Safety information and training materials to the line organization and customers. Coordinate translation efforts as required.
- Communicate and deal with the local authorities on environment and product safety issues.
Minimum Requirements And Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering / Science and relevant qualification in EHS.
- Min. 3 years of Environmental System Management experience in gas industry or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge on local Environmental and label/SDS regulations.
- Strong understanding of EHS programs and management systems such as ISO14001 and ISO45001 standard requirements.
- Requires strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Requires strong technical and managerial skills
- Willing to be based in Prai preferably or Shah Alam.
