Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Group Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance is responsible for designing and delivering the compliance and quality assurance program across Malaysia Aviation Group, ensuring compliance with external (regulatory and industry) and internal standards within all AMG operational units. The role maintains operational independence to ensure objective audits without conflicts of interest.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee an effective, risk-based group quality assurance program supported by performance metrics, aiming to reduce operational risks and ensure ongoing compliance with legal and IOSA standards.
- Conduct safety audits of the Safety Management System within MAG, ensuring compliance with Civil Aviation Directive 19 – Safety Management.
- Perform auditing services as required for MAG’s Airline and AVS entities, adhering to operational agreements.
- Ensure timely delivery of the group’s audit programs within scope and schedule.
- Implement a corporate governance structure that fosters a safety culture, ensuring senior management is aware of audit results and engaged in continuous improvement.
- Maintain the Airlines’ IOSA Program, including security elements.
- Develop and maintain Operations Compliance/Quality Assurance systems, including procedures and programs, supporting departmental compliance through regular meetings.
- Act as Lead Auditor or Auditor for internal compliance and QA audits, contributing to meeting regulatory and IOSA standards.
- Disseminate audit findings and quality assurance information to management and operational personnel to promote organizational awareness.

- Degree qualification
- Certified Internal Auditor, Lead Safety/Quality Auditor with proven knowledge in compliance, quality assurance, and human factors
