About the Role
Dandy is hiring a manufacturing automation software engineer to join our rapidly expanding automation team. Dandy's Automation team is responsible for designing and building our factories' automation and mechanized equipment. This highly visible role will be instrumental in innovating, developing, and deploying automated systems to achieve ambitious goals and leading innovation in the dental industry.
What You'll Do
You will take the lead in driving the technical development of various manufacturing automation initiatives within the organization.
Lead the initiative for sustaining Dandy’s 3d scanning technology platform and improving upon the current system.
Take ownership of all software development for Dandy’s 3d scanning projects.
Work with our factory and quality teams to identify gaps in Dandy’s current 3d scanning technology and develop solutions.

What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in Manufacturing: Software Engineer
In-depth knowledge of 3d scanning and point cloud data manipulation
Ability to develop or use an existing SDK to move data from 3d scanners into external, custom-built applications
Experience stitching multiple point cloud datasets into a single file.
Experience comparing point cloud data to manufacturing design CAD files.
Constant partnership with multiple functional teams across Dandy and its equipment suppliers.
Strong technical skills, involving problem-solving and issue root causing in a pressured environment
Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 15%

about the job
- Develop responsive and reusable frontend components using React and Next.js.
- Build scalable APIs and services using NestJS, Express, or Go-zero.
- Design and manage PostgreSQL database schemas, and optimize SQL queries.
- Implement testing strategies, code reviews, and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Containerize applications with Docker and collaborate with DevOps on deployment.
- Participate in sprint planning, architectural discussions, and documentation.
requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience (frontend: React/Next.js, backend: Node.js/Go).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience in Redis caching.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with REST, gRPC, JWT authentication, and AWS services.

Job Description: dConstruct is looking for software engineers to join our vibrant and driven systems integration team working on solving challenging problems in robotics. As a software engineer at dConstruct, you will be designing, building and integrating robotic systems needed to solve complex real-world problems. You will be working with clients to understand their needs and, in turn, implement their requirements accordingly.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop sensor drivers and integrate sensors.
2. Develop a core C++ programme to perform data collection on a mobile platform.
3. Develop a native program to analyze and visualize data collected.
4. Liaise with a hardware team and other stakeholders to ensure that the mobile data collection platform is functional and robust.
5. Understand stakeholder requirements to develop relevant software features.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related fields.
2. Good foundation in modern C++/programming.
3. Strong foundation in Data Structures/Algorithms.
4. Understand concepts in memory allocation, cache performance, data-oriented programming.
5. Comfortable in writing and debugging high performance native code.
6. Comfortable working on large code bases.
7. Experience and knowledge in robotics fields is preferred.
8. Able to do technical communication to understand and explain the needs of end-users.
