Be the area owner and accountable for the area / department performance metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, cost, ROCK (Remove, Organize, Clean, Keep), etc. Ensure company policies are clearly communicated with the production team. Ensure EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) and quality regulatory requirement compliance. Provide proper training to the associates and ensure they are certified to perform their job with the tools provided according to the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) / WI (Work Instruction). Conduct regular 1:1 and weekly communication meetings with associates to provide/receive updates, feedback, and discuss development and calibration of expectations. Ensure a safe working environment for associates with enforcement of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) compliance and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) application. Ensure product is produced according to the print in order to meet the industry standards and customer expectations for quality. Proactively initiate quality improvements to ensure OD and PPM meet the corporate target. Timely containment and investigation of quality issues (together with MQS/technician etc.) in order to minimize the cost impact and prevent escape to customer. Responsible to support and ensure OSS scheduling of orders by due date and batching opportunity; confirm material availability to deliver orders on time to customers. Work with OSS to manage the expedite system, rescheduling codes and accurate dates. Manage machine capacity and people capacity (this includes associate work schedules, OT, time off, vacations etc.) with alignment to order scheduling. Responsible for overall cost performance in your cost center. Manage overtime according to business requirements, drive scrap and productivity improvements to reduce cost. Communicate to Techs on priority and engage in troubleshooting defective tooling that may cause efficiency or quality concerns. Walk the processes frequently to understand any quality concerns or bottlenecks, and address with the team in a timely manner. Monitor and review metrics regularly; responsible to initiate and drive continuous improvement. Required Experience:
Strong in data analysis and is data driven. Experience with Process knowledge for related area. Excellent problem solving, investigation skills, and needs to be detail oriented. Must be able to use Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) Team player and must be able to work with multiple groups of people (Operators, Floor Managers, Engineers, etc.) Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs. This includes receiving escalated problem calls, documenting those calls, troubleshooting the problem, triaging the problem (prioritize), escalating those calls to the appropriate party for resolution, tracking the resolution process, and identifying fixes that will improve the department’s ability to support our global presence. Job Description
Fully responsible for ensuring efficient, high‑quality and personalized customer service through order processing and assisting customers with special requests. Develop good professional relationships with customers through regular forecasting and planning collaboration.
Responsible for resolving rescheduling and/or re‑routing of product, shipping issues and/or delays, returned goods and pricing issues in a timely manner.
Deal with quality concerns and coordinate with the appropriate quality department for corrective action and follow‑up to achieve customer satisfaction.
Processing of orders, contracts, and amendments using the Knowles Oracle ERP system, ensuring that the terms of sale meet the requirements of the company by cross‑checking with the Knowles CRM system.
With sufficient knowledge of Customer Service Policies, ISO requirements and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements ensuring accuracy of order management.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Order Management; enter orders and amendments into the Knowles’ ERP & CRM System.
Responsible for the resolution of rescheduling and/or rerouting of product, shipping problems and/or delays, returned goods and pricing issues.
Assists Sales & Marketing personnel with order information and reports as needed.
Require in-depth understanding of the customer systems to retrieve the necessary information such as customer forecast/demand, usage and inventory status.
Holistic analysis of customer demand, based on forecast data and statistics. Apply ad‑hoc knowledge and experience (seasonality trend, fiscal year and quarter end dates) to learn how it affects customer’s actual consumption.
Understanding of Supply Chain ATP (Available to Promise) logic and ability to work with customers to synchronize supply chains. (E.g. Work with customers to align expectations for lead times).
Ensure high data accuracy in Pick and CRM, such as: Purchase Orders and Sales Orders
Customer Profile (name, address, payment terms, etc.) in System
Visual Compliance Screening
Maintain accurate feedback in Customers system where applicable
Require understanding on customer contract related to supply chain.
Able to understand customer requirements on packing, labeling and shipping and effectively convey to the WHS and Shipping department for execution.
Lead and involve actively in customer meetings from Global Order Fulfilment Perspectives.
Timely escalation to superior on any Customer Potential Line Down issues.
Able to handle routine tasks with minimum supervision and perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
Perform Stock Rotations, RMA and direct quality concerns.
Authority Prepare Sales Order per Customer Purchase Order and drive customer forecast to enter into Pick System and escalate to Customer Service Section Head/Manager.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience.
1‑3 years of experience in Customer Service or planning.
Good verbal and written communication skills; able to manage high‑demand customers and work with local and overseas plants.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in Oracle or any CRM system is an advantage.
Availability to work shift to support U.S. based customers.
Able to travel when required.
