Job Description
The RF Engineer II performs sustaining engineering work in applied research, design, development, testing, manufacturing, and documentation of existing products or systems. Uses research techniques to analyze and validate design or theory concepts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the design and analysis of existing systems, products, and subsystems/circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals
- Review existing production released RF Match and RF Generator designs to become the expert knowledge holder of functionality, and performance using existing product documentation
- Responsible for broad technical knowledge of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, including but not limited to DC circuits, AC to DC converters, RF matching impedance networks, AC power factor correction, high power transistors and rectifiers, digital and analog loop stability, magnetic design, worse case component analysis, digital hardware, firmware, test and measurement systems, and electrical/safety regulatory compliance
- Diagnose issues of diverse scope with design, field performance, root cause/failure analysis, reliability and manufacturing test yields of existing RF products using formal investigation methods and to recommend/implement corrective actions to address. Perform design verification testing of proposed solutions and create summary reports or presentations.
- Follow key engineering procedures including the ECO process, Copy Exact and Product Development Process
- Identify product and process limitations and identify opportunities for product improvement
- Responsible for initiating and managing through to completion engineering changes using the ECO process
- Identify the engineering scope of work and plan/implement/report on engineering related activities using project management tools.
- Provide direction to engineering technicians or lower-level engineers related to product specific work
- Design and analyze derivative products based on existing products and/or subsystems and circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals
- Analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods to monitor manufacturing performance
- Collaborate with engineering management to respond to changing priorities derived from inputs from Product Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Support, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical Service Organization, and Field Application Engineering.
- Identify, and evaluate obsolete components in existing designs, select possible replacement alternatives, and to re-design circuitry as required to meet performance criteria and functional transparency to original design.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Broad technical knowledge of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, including but not limited to RF circuits, AC to DC converters, AC power factor correction, high power transistors and rectifiers, digital and analog loop stability, magnetic design and RF test and measurement systems.
- Ability to learn and use professional concepts appropriate to engineering, including analytical methods, computer aided analysis and design tools, diagnostic instruments and test equipment, lab skills appropriate to design, selecting appropriate components and materials for designs.
- Ability to collaborate with others to scope projects, determine milestones, and achieve goals.
- Self motivated. Ability to self manage projects with moderate input and assistance.
- Strong organizational and follow through skills.
- Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be obtained.
- Ability to apply company policies and procedures to solve routine to complex technical issues.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3-4 years of previous experience working in Engineering or similar.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree / Master's in electrical engineering.

The Process Engineer is responsible for leading the development, optimization, and control of key manufacturing processes to ensure consistent high-quality output and operational efficiency. This role involves ownership of critical processes, support for cross-functional projects, and mentoring junior engineers and technicians. - Lead and sustain ownership of designated production processes RF/DC test & TBE.

- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for quality issues.
- Champion continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured methodologies.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) with process qualification, documentation, and training.
- Collaborate with R&D, equipment, and quality teams to enhance process capability and robustness.
- Ensure process documentation (SOPs, control plans, FMEAs) is up-to-date and audit-compliant.
- Participate in audits (internal, customer, regulatory) and provide technical support as required.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians in technical problem solving and best practices.
- Monitor emerging trends and evaluate new technologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, or related).
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in process engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment (semiconductor or electronics preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Expertise in SPC, DOE, FMEA, and other statistical/process control methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of MES systems (e.g., CAMSTAR), data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), and automation systems.
- Preferred Skills and Attributes:
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949, quality systems, and reliability engineering.

Seeking a Senior Staff Analog Layout Engineer (RF Layout) to lead and execute complex RF/analog layout designs, guide junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-performance circuit delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with RF designers to optimize and iterate circuit layouts.
- Perform critical circuitblock, subsystem, and top-level layout using Cadence Virtuoso VXL & Mentor Calibre and advanced RF node processes.
Plan and execute RF floor planning, routing, and DRC/LVS verification.
Lead/co-lead RF IP layout and ensure design quality through reviews.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for layout integration.
Conduct internal and external design reviews.
Manage project schedules and assign tasks within the layout team.
Mentor and coach junior engineers for quality and timely delivery.
Required Skills:
8 to15 years of hands-on RF/analog layout experience (especially from scratch).
Proficient in Cadence Virtuoso VXL & Mentor Calibre.
- Strong knowledge in high-frequency RF blocks (LNA, Mixer, PA, VCO, PLL).
Deep understanding of submicron CMOS analog layout concepts.
Skilled in parasitic reduction, matching, ESD, and DFM techniques.
Experience in layout verification (LVS, DRC).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and productivity improvement focus.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Additional Info:
Bachelor's degree in EE/ECE/Physics with VLSI exposure preferred.
