We are seeking a Retail Key Account Manager to lead and grow our presence in leading pharmacy retail chains such as Watsons, Guardian or relevent. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, manage relationships with retail partners, and ensure successful trade marketing and sales performance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and category managers
  • Develop strategic plans to boost sales and enhance brand presence in retail chains

Negotiate trade terms, pricing, in-store visibility, and promotional agreements Trade Marketing & Promotion Execution

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to implement in-store activations and brand campaigns
  • Oversee placement and visibility of POS materials, gondola displays, and signage
  • Evaluate promotion performance to improve future initiatives
  • Monitor sales data to avoid stockouts or overstocking
  • Collaborate with internal teams on stock replenishment and order fulfilment
  • Provide timely reports on sales trends and category growth

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Track competitor activity, pricing strategies, and product launches
  • Recommend proactive actions to remain competitive in the market
  • Identify opportunities for product listings and retail channel expansion
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in key account management in the retail/pharmacy sector
  • Solid understanding of pharmacy retail dynamics, particularly Watsons or Guardian
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and retail analytics tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven mindset
  • Experience working with healthcare, skincare, or FMCG products is a plus

The role focuses on driving the growth of Postpaid sales distribution while ensuring effective channel execution. Key responsibilities include monitoring competitor activities, planning and implementing sales and promotional initiatives, and ensuring all partners operate in alignment with CelcomDigi’s standards, brand values, and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee performance of Controlled Channel Partners and retail outlets.
  • Drive growth and expansion of Postpaid sales distribution channels.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends.
  • Plan and implement promotional initiatives at the store/outlet level.
  • Ensure dealer and outlet compliance with CelcomDigi's operational guidelines.
  • Manage and reconcile sales transactions and store assets.
  • Strategize and execute overall channel development and expansion plans.
  • Support and participate in on-ground initiatives including events, roadshows, and roving activities.
  • Evaluate and enhance retail operations processes for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, retail operations, or account management, preferably in the telecommunications or FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience managing channel partners, dealers, or retail outlets.
  • Willingness to travel for store visits, roadshows, and on-ground activities.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including weekends if required.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Competence in analyzing market trends and competitor activities.
  • Proficient in using data to drive decision-making and reporting performance metrics.
  • Familiar with retail operations, stock management, and store performance analysis.
  • Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and operational standards.
  • Strong track record in achieving sales targets and growing distribution networks.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies and promotional campaigns.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including weekends if required.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Competence in analyzing market trends and competitor activities.
  • Proficient in using data to drive decision-making and reporting performance metrics.

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description:

  • To develop and maintain a close relationship between Shopee Retail Official Store (OS) and Brands
  • P&L owner for Retail OS and Brands, driving sales growth and leading strategic initiatives
  • Lead negotiations for buying and selling, determining assortment, pricing, margins, rebates, and promotional strategies for business topline growth
  • Develop and present platform-driven initiatives to brands, including campaigns and programs
  • Lead negotiations for Trading Terms Agreements (TTA) and Joint Brand Partnership (JBP)
Requirements:
  • A recognized Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in the FMCG sales, Merchandising and e-commerce industry would be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required)
  • Innovative problem-solving skills; able to dissect and identify problems and implement solutions accordingly
  • Team player with an aptitude for work and the drive to constantly outperform your KPIs
  • Excellent command of English and the ability to converse fluently in other languages (eg: Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) will be an added advantage
