Overview

As a SpecTek DRAM Applications and Process Development Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the planning, development, and monitoring of product testing. During this process you will follow quality standards as specified by SpecTek and Micron.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze module Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), ensuring accurate processing and comprehensive reporting to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.

Software, Process, and Data Automation

• Ensure all test programs, scripts, or any other software are tested and debugged prior to a production release.
• Stay current with IT technologies and adapt methodologies to improve software solutions.
• Align software development with Micron internal standards and collaborate with internal customers, suppliers, and other sites to drive improvements that reduce cost and/or improve quality and/or reliability.

EHSS Responsibilities

• Identify and report any conditions or behaviors contrary to EHS policies or procedures.

Qualifications

R&D Development Specialist lead projects up to process build/implementation and they are important knowledge holders in their field. The specialist is consulted by other R&D members for NPD projects and by other JDE employees in case of operational issues. Drives test time reduction through analysis of fallout data versus test time for various IPs to balance and drive overall product cost optimizations.* Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.* Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.* Leads and drives manufacturing readiness from fab, assembly, and test factory to support engineering sample and customer sample generation (ES milestones), wafer start planning, product qual execution strategy and capacity analysis, and assembly and test site certification activities.# **Qualifications:*** Bachelor of science of Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Master of science of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and equivalent.* At least with 15+ years relevant experience required in the following areas: + Microprocessor test (ATE and/or system test and/or pre-silicon verification) experience + 15+ years of applicable experience in pre-silicon and post-silicon test development. + Proven track records on leading product development from definition, pathfinding, pre/post silicon validation and manufacturing ramp. + Strong background and knowledge in hardware architecture, analog/logic/memory design and implementation. + The ideal candidate will exhibit: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of successfully leading team in creating and implementing integrated, multidiscipline solutions with excellent results. + Ability to work in unstructured environments and to initiate and drive new model path finding activity from ambiguity (concepts) to clarity (defined direction and development). + Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, effective listening and influencing skills that result in strong working partnerships across organization boundaries. + Responsible in providing effective regular updates to management on product development progress. + Knowledge of circuit design/Si process/test domains. + SOC integrated circuit testing and high-volume manufacturing experience would be an added advantage. + Works with fab, assembly, and test factory partners and planners to support production ramp. + May also manage execution of new product introductions in the fab, fab process targeting, product/process optimizations, and participate in factory task forces to bring product perspective and respond to product issues. + Optimizes product supply through data analysis of postsilicon binsplit, die level cherry pick (DLCP), and optimize sort/test content and yield downstream through data analysis.# Job Type:Experienced Hire# Shift:Shift 1 (Malaysia)# Primary Location:Malaysia, Penang# Additional Locations:# Business group:The Network & Edge Group brings together our network connectivity and edge into a business unit chartered to drive technology end to end product leadership.
