We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer with experience in PostgreSQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to backend development, database management, and feature enhancements to improve platform performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.
• Optimize and manage PostgreSQL databases for efficiency and scalability.

Job Description

• Educate management/colleagues/technical staff in advanced UI/UX concepts.
• Review all software apps collectively with the analytics team and determine areas for improvement.
• Work collectively with Business Analyst to complement design and software business needs.
• Illustrate/provide detailed information architecture documentation/design ideas (sitemaps, wireframes, functional specifications/requirements, storyboards, process/task flows, etc.) to the development team.
• Conclude best practices for UI/UX approaches based on user research, contextual inquiries, and usability testing of websites and apps.
• Prepare, present, initiate, and conduct client discovery sessions/drafts and gather requirements from stakeholders and user interviews, pre-and post-launch usability testing.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree/Diploma specialized in Computer Animation/Art/Creative Industry/Visual Design/Business/Information Technology/Computer Science.
• At least 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer.
• An enthusiastic self-starter and passionate about designing experiences in the digital space.
• Able to design/redesign portals from the ground up, knowing when to implement fresh perspectives.
• Continuously up to date with the latest and emerging industry trends.
• Ability to perform digital platform reviews and audits to identify areas of improvement.
• Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in Axure, InVision, App, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Capable of maintaining focus on business goals/developing a maximized user-centered experience.
• User-focused, analytical, and have strong verbal, visual design, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Displays an understanding of large systems project/portfolio management principles.
