Job Responsibility

• Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications;
• Coordinating labour resources and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment;
• Operating and implementing coordinated work programmes for sites;
• Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety;
• Arranging submission of plans to local authorities;
• Arranging building inspections by relevant authorities.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Degree, Advanced Degree.
• Prefer knowledge in Civil Engineering Works & Construction Works.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, optionally Mandarin.
• Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges.

To lead the planning, design, and upkeep of infrastructure—including internal roads, staff housing, communal facilities, and utility systems—ensuring functionality, durability, safety, and full compliance with local regulations, ISPO, ESG standards, and Best Management Practices (BMP). This role enables year-round operations through accessible road networks and supports workforce welfare through the development of safe, sustainable, and cost-efficient living environments, particularly in remote locations.

Job scope:

· Infrastructure Planning & Maintenance — Plan and oversee infrastructure development and maintenance to ensure sound design, durability, and operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive measures.

· Facility Development — Design and manage construction of operational buildings and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards, with consideration for sustainability.

· Utilities Management — Oversee water, sanitation, and electrical systems to ensure reliability. Implement preventive maintenance and respond promptly to issues.

· Innovation & Modular Solutions — Assess and promote modular systems and new technologies to improve cost-efficiency, speed, and environmental performance

· Compliance & ESG — Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure projects comply with regulations, certification standards, and sustainability policies. Support audits and drive best practice adoption.

· Coordination & Cost Control — Coordinate with teams and contractors to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery. Monitor project costs and support technical planning.

· Reporting & KPIs — Maintain records and report on infrastructure status, costs, and performance. Provide input for planning, budgeting, and management reviews.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Architecture, or a related field

· At least 4 years of experience in road and infrastructure development

· Proficient in supervising infrastructure works, including road engineering, housing infrastructure and utility system setup

· Knowledge in using AutoCAD is an added advantage

· Able to coordinate effectively across diverse functions and stakeholders

PROJECT ENGINEER C&S

Responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects ensuring designs meet safety and quality standards while adhering to projects timelines and budgets. This role requires strong technical expertise in civil and structural engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and affective communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.

• To assist the Project Manager in ensuring that the construction works are carried out in accordance with the construction drawings and specification.
• Responsible for the inspection of the workmanship and compliance to the method of statement of construction.
• Liaise with consultants and contractors to resolve any discrepancies in the consultants' drawings.
• Ensuring contractorsâ compliance with contract, plans, specifications, regulations, and standards.
• To monitor and maintain record of work progress at site according to work schedule.
• Keeping all test record or documents such as as-built drawing, method of statements, shop drawing, etc.
• Attending various meeting inclusive site meeting, technical meeting, sub-contractor meeting, etc. and coordinating all site issues.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
• With minimum 5 year(s) working experience in the supervision and coordination of infrastructure works.
• Able to plan, organize and coordinate tasks to meet daily targets.
• Able to work independently, possess initiative and responsible.
• PC literate in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project & AutoCAD.
• Willing to reallocate anywhere within Malaysia

The Opportunity

• Provide detailed design work across a broad range of projects within civil engineering.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of tender submissions and presentations.
• Prepare project reports summarising key assumptions, design methodologies, and conclusions and recommendations.
• Where appropriate, liaise with other groups within the geography and more broadly across the region, providing expertise on infrastructures engineering as appropriate.

• Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil & Structural Engineering or similar area with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Civil and

• Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership and familiar with
• British/Malaysian and other international Codes and Practices, knowledge of EuroCode and BIM Standard is an added advantage.
• Autodesk (CAD, Civil 3D, Infrawork, Naviswork)
• Awareness/knowledge of coding and scripting software (e.g. VBA, Python, Dynamo, Grasshopper or similar);
• Awareness/knowledge of digital tools and software (e.g. ArcGIS, OpenRoad, MITS, IPANET, HEC-RAS, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, ProjectWise, or similar)
