**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Perform daily incoming sampling inspections according to specifications and standards.
+ Ensure proper handling and part protection before transferring to store or further processes (e.g., Hydrotest, RT, PT, MT).
+ Support day-to-day activities such as WIP scanning, hold part segregation, and defect confirmation with engineers.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

  • Develop and design stress/substrate/driver/adaptor boards, stencils, and related hardware and software solutions based on product requirements and various stress systems.
  • Design and adapt boards according to new requirements derived from technology roadmaps.
  • Ensure alignment with design standards and maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform complex stress test setups as required by application.
  • Verify and buy off hardware/software solutions, ensuring timely release.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of buy-off procedures.
  • Actively participate in multiple ongoing projects as a work package member.
  • Collaborate with product development and application engineering teams across international sites.

  • Interface with existing suppliers and manage procurement processes for new board designs.

  • Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement activities and lessons learned.
  • Deliver know-how and technical guidance to sustaining engineering teams.


Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor reliability testing and board design preferred.
  • Proficient in board design using Eagle and/or Altium PCB design software.
  • Experience in designing reliability test boards for high-power or high-frequency applications.
  • Familiar with reliability test methodologies, bias conditions, and reference standards.
  • Working knowledge of embedded systems (e.g., Arduino) and programming languages such as C# and C++.
  • Understanding of electronic interfaces such as SPI, JTAG, I2C, SWI.
  • Strong schematic design skills and hands-on troubleshooting of electronic circuitry.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as IPC-7351, IPC-9701, IPC-A-600F, IPC J-STD-001ES & JEDEC standards
    with a proactive and self-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  1. Develop test programs on RF tester platforms.
  2. Develop, modify, optimize, and buy-off automatic test equipment, load/DUT boards, adapters & sockets, handlers, and temperature conditioning systems. Resolve related issues.
  3. Develop new methods and processes to optimize quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of reliability qualification of product, technology, material, and process changes.

  7. Plan, execute, and coordinate test package releases and activities, resolving test-related issues.

Your Profile

You are best equipped if you have:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of related experience in semiconductor electrical testing is preferred. Experience with electrical testing, working principles of electrical test equipment, or stress equipment is advantageous.
  2. Knowledge of electrical testers or handlers for RF products.
  3. Knowledge of automatic data transfer from testers to databases, tester data file formats, and drift analysis.
  4. Understanding of the working principles, troubleshooting, diagnostic/test program debugging, interpretation of schematics/electronic circuitry, and basic repair of automatic test equipment.
  5. Programming skills in C++, Visual Studio, Arduino, and embedded systems.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

The Quality and Assurance Engineer provides quality & completions assurance support to Australian projects within ACC from the Kuala Lumpur Gamuda Hub.

Key Responsibilities

1) DTI Values

-Work in accordance with DTI’s values and demonstrate commitment, active involvement and leadership regarding zero harm, client, people, and financial accountabilities.

2)Project Systems Support

-Assist the Project Quality & Completions Manager/s to:

-Develop the register of Project contract completions & handover requirements and track progress against deliverable development.

-Assist project set-up in ACC and Gdos, including uploading the Work Breakdown Structure into -ACC/Gdos and developing the project folder structure as required.

3)Project Quality Assurance

-Conduct daily audits within ACC to ensure folders contain the required list of deliverables by the due dates.

-Provide feedback and advice to the Project quality Team about the completeness of records within the ACC and DGos system.

-Assist with the upload of records to the Gdos and ACC system.

4)Coaching and Training

-Assist project team members to understand the functionality of ACC and Gdos.

-Remain abreast of new features within ACC and Gdos and provide coaching to team members to ensure all are across relevant updates.

-Provide coaching engineering teams to interpret reports to set quality and completions activity priorities on a weekly basis.

5)Reporting

-Reporting and Communication:

-Provide project reporting to assist the team to have visibility of the status of quality and completions records.

-Provide input to project monthly reporting as required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum: 5 years’ experience working as a professional engineer within the construction industry (preferably civil or structures).
  • Minimum: Experience in using digital systems for the capture of construction quality documentation (as required by the ITP) in support of completions and handover.
  • Minimum: Experience in the use of Power BI (or similar tool) to report against construction quality progress.

Preferred / Optional: Experience in checking the completeness of digital quality records in preparation for handover.

Skills & Abilities

Experience:

  • Ability to speak, write and understand the English language in relation to construction terminology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to review and recommend opportunities for improvement, including gaps or new processes or to streamline transactional activities.

Ability to administer multiple and competing tasks concurrently.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Professional presentation and conduct.
  • Ability to prepare reports and communicate required actions to team members.
  • Proficient in using Power BI to report against required outcomes.
  • To have high levels of self-discipline, self-motivation, and energy.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
