Job Description:

  • Perform inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection reports, audits, and corrective action logs.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Provide training and guidance to quality control team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Work closely with suppliers and external partners to address quality concerns.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a QC Supervisor or in a similar quality control role.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage quality-related activities effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Mandarin speaker is required ; Chinese candidates are preferable to facilitate communication with the team and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software is a plus.
    Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Job Summary

Implement and maintain the project quality plans and procedures. Acts as an interface between project sites, procurement inspections, corporate offices, and clients. Responsible for the management of site QC staff (if any) on assigned project Sites.

Key Responsibilities
Provide resident Mechanical quality supervision for BV QA/QC inspection services.

Participate in daily, weekly, or monthly quality meetings.

Review all pre-fab and installation construction engineering deliverables including procedures, QA/QC documentation, inspection, witnessing and Site Acceptance Test (SAT), etc.

Provide inspection and witness services relevant to mechanical equipment per agreed ITP and Witness Points, SAT, and other major milestone test on the site.

Provide inspection services relevant to mechanical equipment of off-site manufacturing / fabrication facilities, off-site storage / laydown facilities, storage of imported equipment and packages/crates, as required.

Verify the provision of QA/QC records and certificates relevant to mechanical equipment.

Verify and compile the punch list and non-conformance reports relevant to mechanical equipment.

Certifications
Certification in discipline (e.g.: American Welding Society (AWS), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Institute for Supply Management (ISM)) or relevant geographical equivalent certification is desired.

  • Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, Kneel, Bend, Stoop, Move, and Walk long distances in and around confined, cluttered places, and uneven areas.
  • See and hear naturally or with correction.
  • Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties.
  • Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure.
  • Requires repetitive movement.
  • May require work above 5 feet in height.

  • Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical labor in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.

About this position

Objective of this role:

Commitment to the quality and integrity of Mazars global audit methodology and thorough quality control that applied to every client engagement. This role focuses on quality control and carries out EQCR to ensure professional standards compliance in our reports.

Main Tasks:

  • Stay current on industry development related to engagement standards that impact out business.
  • Be and active participant in engagement standard setter activities, which may include conference attendance, task force participation, professional response to comment letters, etc.
  • Develop strategies and materials to implement both new and changed standards efficiently.
  • Develop policies and procedures related to the Firm’s system of quality control as required under the MIA and Mazars QC Manual.
  • Implement details policies and procedures that support compliance with professional standards (MIA, AOB, PCAOB, IESBA, IFRS etc.)
  • Continuously consult with Firm personnel regarding compliance with professional standards matters.
  • Draft thought leadership material to support both internally and externally focused campaigns.
  • Monitor Firm compliance with the MIA Quality Control Standards and engagement standards.
  • Manage the Firm’s annual internal inspection process, which addresses both Firm level policy compliance, and audit and attest engagement standards.
  • Manage the Firm’s global reporting requirements to Mazars Group.
  • Perform Engagement Quality Control reviews on professional standards issues.
  • Maintain and update the Firm’s Quality Control Manuals.
  • Participate in both regulatory and global control inspections.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, and deliver quality client services with accuracy and in a timely manner.

Education:

  • Minimum Degree in Finance / Accounting or any relevant field
  • Qualified accountant – MIA/ACCA/CPA Australia, or equivalent.

Working Experience:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experiences.
  • Demonstrated success in adapting a work environment of about 120 professional.

Technical & Professional Knowledge / Membership :

  • Member in any relevant professional bodies
  • Holds significant external audit experience managing a portfolio of clients and leading audit teams and a good technical expertise
  • Knowledge of the MIA Quality Control, Ethics and Independence Standards.
  • A demonstrated commitment to excellence in compliance with engagement standards.
  • Ability to perform technical consultations and reviews.
  • Ability to research and document complex accounting and engagement standards issues.
  • Ability to translate high-level technical literature into commonly understood language and usable data.
  • People management experience. Excellent communication and people management / development skills, team-player.
  • Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills required.

In this role, you will:

  1. Act as the IFX quality ambassador.
  2. Influence the quality culture and mindset of subcontractors to align with IFX's standards.
  3. Train subcontractors in IFX quality management practices and oversee implementation.
  4. Coordinate internal and external resources to enable subcontractors' quality management processes and establish process capabilities for developing and manufacturing automotive-grade products.
  5. Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to develop automotive-grade products through the APQP process.
  6. Participate in project milestone assessments and releases.
  7. Conduct production readiness assessments, identify weaknesses, and drive improvements.
  8. Support development of 8D problem-solving reports.
  9. Maintain automotive-grade product quality through production control processes such as IQC, IPQC, OQC, and reliability assessments.
  10. Manage change processes, review evaluations/assessments, approve, and implement changes.
  11. Oversee subcontractors' daily quality operations, monitor and report quality performance to OSAT, division, and customers, and resolve quality issues.
  12. Coordinate audits with IFX and/or customers, lead audit activities, and follow up on closures and improvements (including VDA 6.3 audits, development projects, and safe launch/ramp-up audits).

Your Profile

You are well-suited for this role if you have:

  • A bachelor's degree and substantial experience in semiconductor assembly or related industries such as EMS, with good knowledge of semiconductor assembly materials and passive components.
  • Experience in engineering, production, and/or quality management, particularly in automotive semiconductors or automotive electronics.
