What's the role? The role of QA Lead for Mobile Apps (Android / iOS) is responsible for planning and executing test strategy, motivating a team of QAs to write, automate and execute test cases and coordinate a geographically distributed development team to ensure high software quality. This position will also review system requirements, track, and analyze quality assurance metrics.What does the role involve?

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured functional and non-functional test plans and test cases
• Prepare test data and ensure testability of features
• Host live testing sessions between various backend and front-end teams to ensure end to end testing of features especially for IoT oriented features involving Hardware & Software
• Get the testing done using the QA engineers in the team – but also be hands on to coach and guide them as required.

What you need is:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in software testing with at least 2-3 years in Mobile App testing
• Experience in working with geographically distributed development teams
• Solid experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Demonstrated knowledge of software QA & Automation methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle.
• Developing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Participation in mobile application projects implemented using Kotlin Multiplatform, with Jetpack Compose (Android) and SwiftUI (iOS), or similar frameworks
