What you’ll do:

• Own and drive our global new product development (NPD) roadmap
• Lead end-to-end innovation projects: concepting, formulation, testing, regulatory, commercialisation and go-to-market
• Collaborate cross-functionally with keys sales channel leaders, supply chain, quality, brand, e-commerce, marketing, regulatory and finance teams
• Stay ahead of global trends in supplements, functional beverage and snacks, and health & wellness - and translate insights into commercially viable products
• Ensure all new products are compliant, scientifically backed, and aligned with brand strategy
• Manage timelines, critical paths, budgets and documentation with precision and accountability

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in product development within supplements, FMCG or functional health
• Strong understanding of effective, trending ingredients and formulations that deliver real benefits
• Demonstrated project management expertise – organised, timeline-focused, and solutions-oriented
• Not essential, but experience with international regulatory frameworks (TGA, FDA, HSA, etc.) is a bonus
• Strong cross-functional management and communication skills
• Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry or a related field
• Highly detail-oriented, strategic thinker with a bias for execution
• Passion for fitness, gym culture and improving lives through better health

• Track and monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely completion
• Utilize the e-Procurement System to raise Purchase Requests (PR)
• Act as an I-Supplier user to claim project management fees on behalf of RHB Property Sdn Bhd
• Manage contracts related to groupwide furniture tenders

Job Responsibilities:

• Raise Capex and projects document for plant expenditure in capex.
• Manage the projects to deliver the necessary timelines, specifications, requirements and budgetary expenses.
• Fully in-charge of plant wide project (CAPEX & Process Improvement) segment.
• Review and recommend necessary mitigation if needed based on project charter actions required to bring project back on track or within agreed parameters
• Review and report project progress on a weekly basis, summarize project expenditures for monthly target vs actual.
• Generate monthly reporting CAPEX, cash-flow and Process Improvement initiatives for actual vs target completion.
• Generate and review reporting for all mentioned reports with Engineering Manager on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Coach others on projects management.
• Review with Plant, Reliability & Safety Engineers on prioritization of execution, roadblocks and clearances, JSA, permitting & total project schedules.
• Plan & execute improvement work with ALL stakeholders including production, QA, planner, R&D, Engineering.
• Drive process improvement project initiatives at production lines.
• In-Charge of plant wide facilities repair and upgrade works.
• Supervise to completion all plant project activities that may encroach after normal working hours, weekend or public holidays.
• Be on-call and available for troubleshooting, enquiries and status updates after normal working hours, weekend or public holidays.
• Review and map out potential line automation and software upgrading (eg. PLC, SCADA, etc)
• Daily and monthly production performance monitoring on executed initiatives working with Continuous Improvement Executive.

Key Requirements For Successful Applicant:

• Degree / Masters in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in FMCG (Strong technical know-how in GMP & HACCP)
• Strong team player, proactive and drive for results
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills
• DOSH and OSHAS standards and machinery acts good understanding.
• LEAN, Loss Analysis, Six Sigma Tools knowledge is a plus
• Project Management know-how
• Mechanical : Pneumatics, hydraulics, piping, rotary and static equipment

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of shipment or project execution, overseeing the daily operations of export and import activities across sea, air, and road freight forwarding. Your key responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing sales strategies to meet company goals.
• Identifying and qualifying leads and assessing new business opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including customer visits.
• Participating in RFQs, RFIs, and tenders, providing rates, and preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals.
• Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Tracking and reporting sales performance metrics to the Head of BD and Branch Manager.

Project Management Responsibilities:

• Planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Direct management of project executions to ensure proactive and successful outcomes.
• Conducting negotiations with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, and network offices to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
• Managing relationships with suppliers, sub-contractors, and third-party cargo handlers.
• Overseeing loading/discharging operations at various ports, customer locations, and job sites.
• Providing guidance to new team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Predicting and controlling risks associated with shipments.
• Overseeing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and project success.
• Providing regular updates to all stakeholders on project status and sales performance.
• Managing and resolving issues that arise during operations or project execution.

Skills, knowledge, and expertise:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry dynamics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, and CRM tools (CargoWise preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, even under stressful conditions.
• Excellent cross-functional and cross-cultural communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Customer-focused and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel on national and international business trips (10–25%).

• At least 10+ of experience in Project Management
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools. (Ex : Smartsheet)
• PMI / PMP Certification
• Experience on operational leadership role
• Knowledge of Nielsen business and/or products
• Work experience in multi-cultural environments & multi country responsibilities
