Role Purpose

The Project Control Manager (PCM) ensures the Project Control functions (cost control, planning/scheduling and progress, risk management, management of change, gate reviews, and reporting) are established in accordance with the contract and internal requirements for all phases of the project.

The PCM consistently reports project status, highlights the project performance, estimates and forecasts the remainder of the project, and highlights risks and opportunities. The PCM provides the Project Team with the data needed to manage the project including taking corrective actions when appropriate.

Tasks and Responsibilities

To set up the Project Controls functions in line with SBM Internal and project/contractual requirements, you are to:

  • Establish the Project Controls Plan in accordance with the contract and PEP and communicate it to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure the Project Controls Team (PCT) is set up and staffed adequately, and that clear individual roles and responsibilities are defined.
  • Ensure all the Project Controls functions are correctly set up.
  • Transfer the budget from the WIN phase to the Project forecast.
  • Establish the WBS, OBS, and CBS and the booking codes/task codes in accordance with the contract and PEP.
  • Implement project planning and progress measurement systems.
  • Manage project reporting both internally and externally including the KPIs.
  • Ensure that the 90 days start-up plan is progressed during the set-up phase.
  • Develop a project baseline schedule that is aligned with contract key dates and deliverables.
  • Gain stakeholders' approval on the baseline.
  • Develop project staffing plan in conjunction with the Project Team.

The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:

  • Administrative set-up of the project is fully aligned with contract, project and internal requirements are established and maintained in a timely manner.

Job Overview

The Project Execution Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging project execution and sales functions. Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of laboratory furniture, fume hoods, high-purity gas systems, and ventilation systems.Â

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist to join our Project Management & Space Planning team at RHB Banking Group. About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist to join our Project Management & Space Planning team at RHB Banking Group. What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare annual budgeting and budget tracking for HQ renovation projects
  • Strategically plan and manage HQ office space, including vacant space, occupancy, and space efficiency
  • Report on Construction in Progress (CIP) for capitalization asset to Finance
  • Verify and check payment submissions related to projects
  • Track and monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely completion
  • Utilize the e-Procurement System to raise Purchase Requests (PR)
  • Act as an I-Supplier user to claim project management fees on behalf of RHB Property Sdn Bhd
  • Manage contracts related to groupwide furniture tenders

Principle Accountabilities
1. Accountable for delivery of specifics IT projects according to organization strategy and
direction.
2. Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects.
3. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
4. Develop project plans, define and schedule project activities and resource requirements.
5. Manage and track progress of cross-cultural IT teams and vendors on deliverables, costs,
schedule inter-team project dependencies, risks and issue using appropriate tools.
6. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and
presentations.
7. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely
and clear fashion.
8. Constantly monitor and periodically report on progress of the projects, problem encountered
and proposed solutions to all stakeholders.
9. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables.
10. Ensure deliverables are in compliance with organization’s policies, quality standards and
regulatory requirements.
11. Manage project financials to ensure that project is delivered within the budget.
12. Manage vendor relationship, including vendor contract negotiation and contract
management.
13. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence
them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
14. Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify
successful and unsuccessful project elements.
15. Assist in identifying improvement areas in organization’s project management processes

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications -Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in
any computer related studies, preferably in Computer
Science or Information Technology.

Minimum Length of Working Experience -Minimum 7 years working experience with at least 4
years of solid project management experience.

Areas of Experience / Training Required -

  1. Good Command of English (verbal and written)
    2. Experience in leading cross functional teams
    3. Familiar with standard Project Management
    Methodology & Life-Cycle.
    4. Proven track record of successful completion of
    projects.
    5. Possess Project Manager Professional (PMP)
    certification or PRINCE2 certification or any other
    project management certification.
    6. Strong computer skills with the ability to use
    Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word,
    Excel and Power Point
