Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to drive all financial activities within multiple small-scale projects or a single large project. Each day, you will act as a business partner to the Project Management team, supporting all financial and commercial matters. Qualifications for the role- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- More than 8 years of years of experience in Project Finance, Controlling and accounting.
- Experience in financial project control, with a track record of successfully managing projects.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.

You will review and have joint responsibility with the Project Manager for all financial aspects of the project including estimate at completion and related cost-to-complete, forecasting Revenues and Cash in, Cash out.
You will drive implementation of actions to reach the forecast, drive problem solving activity to ease the bottleneck and Risks, opportunities assessment and ensure alignment with other functions including Project Controls, planning/scheduling” and provide early warning and update on the same.
You will take responsibility for timely Review and Updating Project review Templates/materials for onward review with LOU / HBL/BL, updating Promis report for the projects on a monthly basis. You will promote commercial awareness in the project team and provide commercial input to the project execution plan (such as T&Cs in supply management, claims, back-to-back conditions), drive claim management, back-charges, insurance cases and monitors the proper follow up together with the Contract Manager/Project Manager upstream (towards customer), as well as downstream (towards suppliers).

474623 This person will be responsible for the completion of all commercial/financial related tasks to contribute to the project success in system business or solution business. You will create an impact by: Financial Compliance & Accuracy:
Ensuring adherence to LoA guidelines, accurate project books and records (SAP, Siemens-FRG, local GAAP), and managing project reporting and controlling. Financial Performance Management:
Supporting the Project Manager in achieving financial targets, optimizing gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing. Customer Relationship Management:
Communicating with customer representatives and resolving commercial issues. Contract & Claim Management:
Establishing contract and claim management practices with the Project Manager and contract manager. Risk & Opportunity Management:
Identifying, evaluating, assessing, and managing commercial risks and opportunities. Collaboration & Representation:
Supporting partner/subcontractor selection, representing the project internally and externally, delegating responsibilities, adhering to conduct guidelines, and acting as a key interface for subject matter experts (e.g., procurement, legal, tax). Other additional responsibilities include: Financial Closing & Reporting:

University diploma or equivalent experience with 3+ years of successful Financial and Project Management and/or Business Controller experience. Technical Skills:

What you will do:
As Project Controller, you will be responsible for BT&S project control, routinely analyze, evaluate and forecast the project cost against the baseline cost schedule and assessing the impacts/opportunities.
- Establish and maintain project WBS including revenue and billing
- Monitor and maintain contract reconciliation
- Establish and maintain project budgets, and overall cost control
- Prepare Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) and variance analysis (budget vs actual)
- Drive project profitability and other performance metrics
- Ensure timely and accurate project billings
- Track, reconcile and work to minimize project unbilled balances
- Prepare risk and opportunity assessments; develop and execute plans to mitigate risks
- Prepare ad hoc project reporting and analysis as required
- Prepare detailed monthly project rolling forecasts
- Participating in monthly project review meetings
- Timely and accurate project settlement, prepare month end project journal entries
How you will do it:
Partner with Project Operations stakeholders within BT&S, to assist project processes to track and close projects and optimize schedule.
- Partners with Project Operations stakeholders to assist project processes from proposal through project execution cycle to optimize schedule, scope and cost to maximize customer success and profitability
- Work with Project Operations stakeholders to implement project costing and review processes that enable vertical and integrated solution growth strategies to achieve profit goals
- Work with Project Operations stakeholders to facilitate key metric and projects reviews monthly and update the information related to project costing and review process
- Build and maintain project tracking dashboards used for project estimation and approvals
- Assist in ERP system migration activities & always maintain an effective and efficient project documentation
- Ad-hoc projects based on management needs
What we look for:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of work experience
- Strong interest in project finance, forecasting, estimation, particularly revenue recognition policies
- Strong business partnership & delivery of results in a matrix environment
- Computer proficient and proficiency in Microsoft excel is a must
- Proven communication skills
