The Faculty of Social Sciences & Liberal Arts (FOSSLA) offers programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels in the disciplines of Mass Communication, Psychology, English Language & Communication, and Education. Our programmes combine theory and practice and students apply their knowledge and skills in practicums, industry projects and cooperative learning attachments every year. • Department of Psychology – Research methods, Counselling, Abnormal Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Child &Adolescent Psychology.
• Department of Mass Communication – Journalism, Film and TV Broadcasting, Marketing and Communication, and Video Production.
• Department of Education– Education, Language and Linguistics, Bilingualism, Translation and Research Methods
• Department of General Studies:- Malaysian Studies, Moral Studies and Bahasa Kebangsaan.

Professional experience and qualifications:

• Ph.D. holder in a related field.
• Any relevantprofessional membership will be an added advantage.
• A strong research and publication track record are highly desirable.
