Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Technician located in Johor Bahru. The Production Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, implementing quality control measures, and troubleshooting technical issues. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), conducting preventive maintenance, and collaborating with team members to optimize production processes. The role requires a hands-on approach and adherence to company protocols to maintain high standards of production efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Ensure that products are assembled in accordance with company documentation (engineering specifications / instructions / drawings), in a timely manner and to the highest standard
• To undertake assembly operations both individually and as part of a team to achieve daily targets / KPI’s
• To use and maintain tools in a safe and professional manner, to include:
• Soldering equipment to IPC standards
• Wiring connectors
• Crimping tools
• Torque and air drivers
• To log assembly work undertaken on relevant systems
• Consult with appropriate teams on any quality or product liability issues the moment they are suspected and assist in determining the root cause and corrective actions to solve such problems

• To set up and operate plastic injection moulding/ plastic extrusion machine operation and troubleshooting
• To operate blow moulding as per expectation
• To set up tooling and machine upkeeping and maintenance
• To ensure continuous production output and production records are kept updated
• To perform daily production area housekeeping
• The ability to use Auto- CAD is a plus
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior

This is a full-time on-site Production Technician role located in Kulai District. The Production Technician will be responsible for quality control, troubleshooting, following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to perform production processes of assemble, brazing, testing and packing
• Assist and participate in the activities related to quality prevention, improvement activities and projects related to production processes and product.
• Conduct troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment when required
• To participate in production processes and product audit, test and review activities when required.
• Responsible to take preventive action for any accident/incident from happening at production shop floor and during the production.
• Involve in the implementation, maintenance and improvement for ISO 14001, iso 9001 and Occupational Health and Safety in the Company.
• Candidate with at least SPM/STPM /Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering/ equivalent.
• Preferably candidate with similar working environment and have experience in manufacturing plant.
• You should bilingual in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Must have own transport and accommodation and able to work in Subang Jaya.
• Can start immediately.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, device assembly and final testing
• Familiar with assembly tools such as torque driver, screwdriver
• Familiar with testing instrument such as Multimeter, Power Supply, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator and Spectrum Analyzer is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English
