Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work transitioned from Group (focus on L3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support, and you will be expected to manage production problems and incidents.
  • You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner closely with the Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
  • Act as the focal point of contact for technical resolutions while managing the incident, problem, and knowledge management processes for the applications in scope.
  • Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues.
  • Manage 3rd party product vendors and integration partners to ensure application code fix deliveries are timely and of good quality.
  • Develop, test, maintain, and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  • Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code, and/or perform unit testing.
  • Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work in terms of problem remediation.
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management, and governance.

As a Production Support Analyst, you’ll provide application support for our business. We are looking for a self-starter, an expert in issue management, addressing concerns from both external and internal clients to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

A core aspect of your role involves ensuring the seamless functioning of the application as deployed, emphasizing proactive and reactive measures to champion continuous service improvement.

You will be a member of a critical team who -

  • Provide Application Support - ensuring that the application is working correctly as deployed.
  • Supporting Incident & Problem Management – analysis, investigation, diagnosis and problem solving to identify, troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Release & Change Management – support testing and release process for production fixes.
  • Service Transition – facilitate the transition between project support and production support for all changes.
  • Service Level Management – support the Service Managers in delivering FNZ services within KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Identifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures.
  • Carries out agreed application maintenance tasks.
  • Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents according to agreed procedures. Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution, escalating as appropriate. Documents and closes resolved incidents according to agreed procedures. Analyses causes of incidents and provides recommendations to minimize probability of recurrence and contribute to service improvement. Initiates and monitors actions to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes, and services.
  • Determines problem fixes and assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
  • Ensures that such problems are fully documented within the relevant reporting systems.
  • Collaborates with colleagues, operational/client-servicing staff and other users to produce long term scalable solutions that adhere to procedural and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Works with developers, other analysts and testers to ensure that production fixes and business process changes are fit for purpose.
  • Drafts and maintains procedures and documentation for application support. Other tasks: To undertake any other projects/ tasks as may reasonably be required to facilitate the smooth operation of the production environment.

  • Intermediate SQL skills.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Support Engineer to support the daily operations of core banking and financial applications. This role ensures application stability, continuity of transaction processing, and timely resolution of application-level incidents in both production and UAT environments.

The engineer will also assist in supporting secure deployment practices and basic DevSecOps coordination as part of the broader operational scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and validate the execution of batch jobs and scheduled processes across core banking applications (e.g., CBS, AML, SCF, INB)
  • Conduct daily application health checks in production and non-production environments
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 1.5 support for login failures, transaction delays, data mismatches, and system alerts
  • Analyse application logs, job outputs, and system alerts to assist in root cause analysis and escalation
  • Participate in incident triage, impact assessment, and prioritisation per business criticality
  • Support secure deployment activities and collaborate with DevSecOps or CI/CD teams during application rollouts
  • Raise, track, and manage tickets and change requests using ITSM platforms (e.g., BMC Helix, Jira Service Management)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incident resolutions, SOPs, and known error records
  • Participate in rotational shift coverage, including weekends and public holidays

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years of application support experience in banking or financial systems.
  • Familiarity with incident handling, job monitoring, and ITSM workflows
  • Basic exposure to secure deployment or DevSecOps environments is preferred
  • Able to interpret application/system logs and work with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus)
  • Experienced in operating within SLA-driven environments and escalation workflows
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin.
  • Experience in Cloud. Huawei Cloud is preferred

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Support Analyst to manage and follow up on incident tickets raised in our production environment. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that all incidents are tracked, escalated as needed, and resolved in a timely manner, while keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process. The ideal candidate will act as the central point of coordination for issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming production incident tickets across applications.
  • Use monitoring tools and system alerts to proactively identify issues.
  • Ensure all tickets are updated with the latest information and followed up regularly until resolution.
  • Coordinate with teams (e.g., development, DevOps, QA) to facilitate root cause analysis and issue resolution.
  • Escalate critical or high-severity incidents appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incident status, actions taken, and closure notes.
  • Verify issue resolution with users or stakeholders before ticket closure.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards on ticket trends, open/closed status, and SLA compliance.
  • Participate in incident review meetings and post-incident analysis discussions.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements to reduce incident recurrence.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a level 2production support or application support role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira or similar.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and infrastructure components.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on following through and closing tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in ITIL-based environments.
  • Experience applying debugging techniques in software applications to identify and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, CloudWatch) is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
