Role Summary
About this role
- Develop and execute content strategies to meet marketing objectives
- Work hand in hand with Domestic and Digital Marketing Team on creating Domestic Spotify/YouTube playlist, ALL UMMY and Masyhur YouTube channel.
- Produce high-quality written, audio, and visual content that engages our audience.
- Manage the content calendar ensuring timely delivery of all content on social media platforms (UMMY, Def Jam Malaysia and Masyhur)
- Assist Domestic and Digital Marketing Team to execute CRM campaigns to grow artists’ fan base and audience engagement.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Optimize content for SEO and improve user engagement across platforms.
- Analyse content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Monthly compilation and editorial of Domestic and Def Jam Malaysia newsletter.
- To assist Team on the releases reporting deck, collecting data, article, and insight.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to inform content creation.
- Diploma / Degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably from the music or entertainment industry
- Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including video editing and motion graphic design.
- Able to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced project management skills, problem solving ability and highly organized.
- Loves Music and with a ear on the ground on pop culture and treads
- Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines. Agency experience will be useful
- May need to work after-hours and on weekends / as and when required

Role Summary
About this role
Develop and execute content strategies to meet marketing objectives Work hand in hand with Domestic and Digital Marketing Team on creating Domestic Spotify/YouTube playlist, ALL UMMY and Masyhur YouTube channel. Produce high-quality written, audio, and visual content that engages our audience. Manage the content calendar ensuring timely delivery of all content on social media platforms (UMMY, Def Jam Malaysia and Masyhur) Assist Domestic and Digital Marketing Team to execute CRM campaigns to grow artists’ fan base and audience engagement. Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines. Optimize content for SEO and improve user engagement across platforms. Analyse content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly. Monthly compilation and editorial of Domestic and Def Jam Malaysia newsletter. To assist Team on the releases reporting deck, collecting data, article, and insight. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to inform content creation.
Desirable Traits:
Diploma / Degree in Marketing or related field Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably from the music or entertainment industry Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including video editing and motion graphic design. Able to build effective stakeholder relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced project management skills, problem solving ability and highly organized.
