Principal Accountabilities
● Responsible for analyzing clean business metrics and operating standards to ensure improved operating income, maximize inventory turns to improve business performance. Ensure each branch adheres to Arrow policy and procedures and minimize profit leaks.
● Manage employees-coach and train business operations analysts.
● Manage clean business-coordinate resources to maximize productivity. (involve corporate operation, cfs, ssg, pdc and branch personnel to identify and resolve field issue).
● Audit branches and identify areas that need improvement and share best practices.
● Miscellaneous ad hoc reporting using excel and focus.

● Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function
● Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges

Job Description
Position Title: Wire Bond Manager
The Wire Bond Manager is responsible for leading a team of manufacturing engineers to support production goals related to delivery, quality, cycle time, and process improvements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive cost-saving projects by improving and qualifying low-cost BOMs, new cost-effective factory supplies, and indirect materials.
- Manage open short test performance improvement activities, providing solutions to technical difficulties and addressing new technology challenges with customers.
- Perform yield analysis, control solutions, and detailed analysis for assembly process engineering on a regular basis.
- Define Best Known Methods (BKM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for sustainable process engineering, focusing on PCS, comparative, and preventive engineering.
- Cultivate engineering process improvements for quality, reliability, yield targets, and address existing challenges.
- Establish and refine process design rules; oversee new product development from design to qualification and production ramp-up. Manage technology and knowledge transfer from ASE sister plants and customer sites to ASE Malaysia, ensuring high-volume manufacturing readiness and market demand fulfillment with minimal delays.
- Enhance equipment capability, upgrades, reusability, sustainability, and stability.
- Lead knowledge-sharing programs to upskill workforce productivity and agility. Enable in-house spare and electronic board repair, as well as equipment refurbishment workshops.
- Manage customer accounts by providing technical solutions, conducting business reviews, calibrating new products and technology roadmaps. Maintain regular communication with customers to showcase company capabilities and strategic direction.
- Implement cost reduction projects and explore new opportunities to enhance competitiveness.
- Drive automation of equipment to reduce headcount and implement less human-dependent processes, including auto gate vision inspection, assembly open/short testers, process step simplification, and snap-over curing.
- Improve equipment efficiency, monitoring metrics such as MTBA, MTBF, MTTR, MTTA, machine OEE, and utilization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Education Requirement:
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Process Control, or Material Engineering.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Familiarity with KNS range of wire bonders, including KNS1488 series, KNS 8028 series, and KNS Maxum series.
