- Ensure high availability and maintenance of refinery computing infrastructure, applications, and tools.
- Monitor compliance with computing security and control standards.
- Oversee process control system operations, ensuring operational stability, advanced control application functionality, and high availability of incentive programs.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and vendors to resolve system or application issues.
- Monitor and improve plant computing systems such as DCS replacement, Operator Guidance Tools, and Equipment Health Monitoring tools.
- Provide guidance on end-user computing needs, working closely with Corporate IT to address compatibility and technological constraints.
- Mentor, coach, and evaluate team performance, identifying career development opportunities for team members.
- Manage section operating budget and oversee plant system improvement projects within budget and schedule.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Chemical, Computer, Control, or Electrical Engineering (Master's or PhD preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in refinery operations, IT, or process control.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Experience in computing systems administration, process monitoring, and advanced control applications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
