You’ll be responsible for:

Define and develop technical and commercial pricing for retail products

Propose and implement pricing strategies and portfolio steering initiatives to meet business objectives

Monitor portfolio performance and review effectiveness of pricing strategy

Perform financial impact analysis and provide statistical & analytical support for other business functions

Prepare and review rate filing documentations to regulator

Rate maintenance in pricing engine

Mentor, supervise and develop junior actuarial members

Important to your success:

Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or other Mathematics/Statistics-based major

Fresh graduates and talents with up to 2 years of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply

Strong interest in General (Non-Life) Insurance

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

High learning agility and work efficiency

Have experience in managing direct reports (ideally)

Good progress in internationally recognized actuarial examinations

Fluent in both written and spoken English, with good communication skills

Strong computer application skills in Microsoft Office product suite and programming language especially Python, SQL

Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is an added advantage.

Overview:

Lam Research Corporation (“Lam”), a Fortune 500 company in semiconductor industry, has an immediate opening for aSenior Transfer Pricing Analystin Penang, Malaysia. The Senior Transfer Pricing Analyst will assist with various aspects of the company’s transfer pricing planning, compliance, and controversy processes. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare/review quarterly and annual worldwide transfer pricing computations Review quarterly legal entity profit forecast with respect to the cross-border transactions Prepare/review all transfer pricing documentation such as master file, local file, CbCR, and all other relevant disclosures and statements Assist with Advance Pricing Agreement (“APA”) applications with different tax authorities Assist with identification of uncertain income tax positions for transfer pricing areas on a global basis Prepare/manage intercompany transfer pricing agreements and keep track of all intercompany transactions Provide support on complex transfer pricing matters related to global transactions and assist business and regional tax teams with planning and compliance Assist in defending global transfer pricing policies across jurisdictions in the face of increasing scrutiny from tax authorities around the world Explore transfer pricing computation/documentation automation opportunities and assist with system automation initiatives Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or the equivalent Additional professional qualifications, e.g. CTIM, ACCA, MIA will be an advantage Minimum 3 years transfer pricing or tax experience in public accounting or industry, preferably with a large accounting firm or a large corporate tax department United States tax experience and knowledge will be an advantage Strong organizational and coordination skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills in English - both oral and written Strong proficiency in tax research tools Experience with SAP system is a plus Strong technology and computer skills Our Commitment
