Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and track average selling prices (ASP) across product lines, customers, and regions.
  • Assess the impact of price increases or decreases and identify contributing factors.
  • Collaborate with product line managers and sales teams to validate price changes and ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor the PowerBI pricing dashboard for insights on pricing trends and performance.
  • Maintain and enhance the PowerBI pricing dashboard for insights on pricing trends and performance and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop AI-driven models or statistical analyses to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Work with IT to address recurring data errors and ensure dashboard accuracy.
  • Provide detailed pricing analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Support the sales finance team in driving the company’s pricing initiative by providing actionable insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to finance and business unit leadership.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, AI, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing analysis or financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with ERP systems, financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus.

  • Ability to collaborate across finance, sales, and IT teams across the company.

Collaboration across sales, marketing, product marketing, quoting teams and finance is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, evaluates, and implements pricing strategies and models for asp business planning.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and success to business plans.
  • Implement worldwide customer specific rebates, promotions, and pricing.
  • Analyzes and reports on current market pricing, trends and share data.
  • Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions, and rebate programs on revenue.
  • Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
  • Ensures necessary pricing controls and monitors to enable and drive optimum pricing performance to meet business objectives.
  • Support pricing managers with channel wide price points and initiatives
  • Align Model N to correct rebates values and date period.

Qualifications

  • 5 years and above of pricing experience with strong data skills preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or economics is preferred, with a master’s degree being a plus.
  • Advanced Excel Skills –
    • Proficiency in using advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, and array formulas.
    • Pivot Tables: Expertise in creating and manipulating pivot tables for data analysis.
    • Macros and VBA: Experience in writing and debugging macros using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to work with clear direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English) skills required.
  • Willingness to work earlier in the day to overlap with US time zone.
  • Consumer experience with instant rebates or promotional vehicles is desired.

PURPOSE: The Financial Analyst (Pricing) partners with the regional bid team and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the pursuit process to develop robust, data-driven financial cases for outsourcing and managed service opportunities. Collaborate closely with commercial teams to assess the financial impact of contract terms and risk clauses. Process & Risk Management Maintain and update pricing tools, templates, and financial databases to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Purpose

  • Performing analytical and actuarial pricing duties in order to provide strong data governance and highly accurate data and analyses for use by more senior pricing actuaries in relation to reserving, reporting, quantitative risk management or the pricing of business.
  • Advise on the pricing and design of new products (covering technical and market-based pricing), with a focus on protection products.
  • Solves business challenges with statistical and predictive modeling techniques such as Exposure Curves, GLMs, machine learning, decision trees, probability networks, association rules, clustering, regression, and neural networks and their application to business decisions.
