To present products’ technical presentations to customers. To conduct solution demoes to customers. To conduct enablement sessions to partners/end users/internal employees. Work with internal engineering and implementation teams to ensure solution feasibility. Support sales teams by providing in-depth technical expertise during pitches. Prepare compelling presentations and white papers on proposed solutions. Conduct competitor analysis to position solutions effectively. Take ownership of drafting detailed technical proposals for RFPs and RFIs. Work with procurement teams to align solutions with budget constraints. Provide technical input for pricing and licensing models. Work with vendor partners (Cisco, Palo Alto, Huawei, AWS, etc.) to ensure up-to-date solution offerings. Train junior pre-sales engineers and share best practices. Stay updated on industry trends, obtaining certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, CCNP, PCNSE, etc. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-7 years of experience in a pre-sales, technical support, or solution engineering role. Strong understanding of (industry-specific technologies, e.g., cloud computing, networking, SaaS, cybersecurity, etc.). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
