The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in developing PostgreSQL databases, along with a strong understanding of database design and optimization principles. Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Senior Database Administrator ( MongoDB/ PostgreSQL/ MySQL)
An excellent opportunity for a Database Administrator, looking for a long-term opportunity, growth and flexible work environment within the Database Services team. In this capacity, the responsibilities will include creating, supporting and maintaining MongoDB , PostgreSQL and other databases managed by the Database Services team
We will count on you to:
- Build/Configure PostgreSQL database cluster and replication
- Build/Configure Mongo RS and shard
- Fine-tune configurations MongoDB and servers for performance improvement.
- Configure Barman server for new database cluster
- Install PostGIS/ pgAudit and other required extension
- Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.
- Estimate database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
- Lead efforts to develop and improve procedures for automated monitoring and proactive intervention, reducing any need downtime.
- Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases.
- Responsible for regular maintenance on databases (e.g., Vacuum, Reindexing, Archiving).
- Design and implement DR plans & HA solutions and recommendations.
- Work closely with the application team to understand what changes are coming in a build/patch/hotfix, do an impact analysis, fine-tune the queries if any.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree with 2 – 4 years working experience
- Strong DBA Experience MongoDB or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of enterprise application technology architecture, components, databases, networking, and infrastructure as code
- Write efficient queries.
- Strong scripting experience - Unix/Shell Scripting, Python
- Technical knowledge of Linux & Windows-based platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- LDAPs configuration for authentication
- Experience in providing after hours emergency support
- Working on rotational shifts between 6am - 10pm local time, may include Sat/ Sun
- Willingness to learn, possess a positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, highly organized, resourceful and meticulous
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team

- Compiling material list for MRP import.
- Maintain reports and data to ensure information is up to date.

- To generate and prepare all types of reports required by the management and other users of inventory reports.
- To generate and publish weekly and monthly KPI Reports to the management.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering

In this role, you will lead data governance, quality, and operations in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in data management, analytics tools (SQL, Python, Power BI), and enjoy working with regulatory or financial data, this is your chance to drive impact. Your contribution will be essential in managing data integrity and shaping innovative solutions that create lasting value for customers and stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Governance & Management
- Oversee and execute daily data operations, including ingestion, formatting, mapping, and staging of incoming data from subscribers, JIM, SSM, and CCRIS.
- Develop, maintain and execute data dictionaries, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality assurance frameworks.
- Ensure all data usage aligns with the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010 and PDPA 2010.
Data Quality & Accuracy
- Monitor, improve and execute data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through automated and manual quality checks.
- Lead root cause analysis for data errors or anomalies and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate periodic data audits and cleansing initiatives.
Team & Process Management
- Supervise and guide a team of data analysts or data operations executives.
- Develop work plans, KPIs, and schedules for efficient data workflow and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with IT, compliance, and customer service teams on data-related issues or enhancements.
System Integration & Automation
- Support the integration of new data sources or partners via APIs, SFTP, or batch processing.
- Drive automation of data pipelines, ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and data integration processesto collect data from different sources, clean and format it, and store it in a usable format in a data warehouse or database
- Create reporting tools to improve operational efficiency.
Reporting & Documentation
- Generate operational and exception reports for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and maintain data traceability and audit trails.
- Prepare presentations and dashboards for management review.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities from time to time.
- Collaborate with all cross-functional teams to ensure that objectives and deliverables are achieved in a timely manner.
- Manage and monitor direct reports / special projects / initiatives in various areas by establishing objectives and following up.
- Prepare detailed reporting and metrics using verified data.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 27001, or Data Governance are considered an added advantage.
- At least 5–8 years of experience in data operations or management, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in credit reporting, financial services, or regulatory environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL tools, and data quality frameworks.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Familiar with credit data (CCRIS, Trade Credit Reference, SSM, Litigation), bankruptcy records (JIM), and KYC/eKYC processes.
- High attention to detail with structured, process-driven thinking.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, innovation, and a focus on efficiency and productivity.
