Responsibilities:
• Create reports, summaries, presentations and process documents to display results.
• Analyse data to better understand potential risks, concerns and outcomes of decisions.
• Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive assessment.
• Collaborate with other team members to effectively analyse and present data.
• Conduct research into potential clients and understand the risks of accepting each one.
• To support ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior as and when required.
• Able to deal with different department, understand their needs, and generate reports.
• Ability to provide recommendations/ideas/suggestion to business units.
• Creative in virtualizing, create charts, graphs.
• Can do presentation to management.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning (added advantage)
Requirements:
• Degree/ Master’s in Mathematics / Statistics / Data Science / Economics / Actuarial science
• Minimum 5 years working experience
• Familiar with analytical and visualize tools, SAS, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau (Preference to those have experience with SAS or unsupervised learning model)

·Great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as stakeholder management.
·Be a fast learner, goal driven with strong analytical skills.
·Be independent, proactive and good at multitasking.

About The Department
Excellent opportunity for an experienced credit risk professional to join a high-performing and evolving Risk Portfolio Management (‘RPM’) function. RPM comprises of a broad range of functions primarily focused on credit portfolio management across banking subsidiaries within OCBC Group. This position is under the Credit Risk Modelling (“CRM”) team within RPM.
About The Team
CRM is a high-profile, multi-disciplinary risk analytics team that covers credit risk models at OCBC Group. The key functions CRM performs include developing, implementing and managing various types of credit risk models, such as Credit risk Scorecards, Internal Rating models, IFRS 9 based Expected Credit Loss models, Credit Stress Testing models, Economic Capital models and Machine Learning models that support Group’s credit risk measurement. These models are embedded in the credit underwriting, customer selection, limit setting, early warning and problem recognition, as well as assessment of capital and provision adequacy.
Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk models supporting the Consumer, Small Business and Wholesale segments of the Group
- Monitor, back-test and report performance of the models to ensure adherence to performance standards and early detection of weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain user requirements, parameters and configurations of systems housing the models.
- Develop in-depth expertise in credit risk modelling methodologies
- Work closely with independent model validators to ensure compliance to model governance framework and timely closure of validation findings.
- Engage with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
- Engage with various stakeholders to develop analytical solutions using model outputs in credit decisioning, business strategies, allowance, and capital assessment.
- Degree in Quantitative/Financial discipline, such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
- Working experience in credit analysis/modelling or credit risk management of Consumer, Small Business and/or Wholesale portfolios.
- Analytical and independent thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior management.
- At least 3-5 years / 5-7 years of relevant experience in a related area for Senior Analyst / Lead Analyst respectively.
- Strong computational skills with an experience in handling data and performing quantitative analysis.
- Good understanding of Basel III, IFRS regulations and credit products.

About The Department

Job Description

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team is responsible for ensuring that our organization has the right tools, processes, and systems in place to identify, measure and manage these risks. The team plays a critical role in strategic decisions about where to expand or contract businesses, where to invest to collect premiums that are enough to cover future claims, and how much capital we need to reserve to weather unexpected events. It also helps the enterprise to develop effective controls that support the successful execution of organizational strategy.
As an ERM colleague, you will shape and support how AIG manages its risks. Your knowledge about the company’s risks will shape the daily decision-making among AIG’s businesses and functions, while informing our clients and the markets that we serve.
ERM advocates a healthy risk culture, encouraging our diverse colleagues to speak up when we spot something that fosters risk so that we can address it effectively and in a timely manner.
About the role
Key accountabilities will include (but are not limited to):
Malaysia:
- Assist in the maintenance of a robust risk management framework for AIG Malaysia that is in line with Group-wide ERM policies as well as local regulatory expectations.
- Contribute to the identification, measurement, management, monitoring and reporting of AIG Malaysia’s major risk categories.
- Work closely with all departments to identify, evaluate and monitor key and emerging risks that could impact AIG Malaysia’s business operations, and ensure that there are appropriate controls identified to manage these risks.
- Support the ongoing development of climate-related initiatives and more broadly as required, sustainability efforts, in accordance with local regulatory requirements and Group actions.
- Lead/roll out ERM-related training programs to foster and sustain an effective risk culture and awareness level within the organization.
- Facilitate sessions with various stakeholders to develop and refresh the Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA).
- Oversight of the operational risk event in term of collection, quality, review and reporting.
- Maintenance of the risk reporting database and systems to administer RCSA, control testing and loss events.
- Facilitate the preparation and collation of risk reports and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for the quarterly Senior Management’s Risk & Capital Committee meetings and for the Board Risk Management Committee meetings.
- Assist in producing the reports for the Senior Management’s Risk & Capital Committee and Board Risk Management Committee for reporting.
- Perform risk assessments for outsourcing arrangements, major initiatives, and business development.
- Support the roll out of any new GRC systems/solutions.
- Maintenance of the Risk Management Department’s records.
Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines:
- Work closely with the local Compliance & Risk Officers in Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines respectively to support the ERM deliverables in accordance with local regulatory expectations and AIG Group-wide ERM policies and framework.
- Support the local teams in the process of identification, measurement, management, monitoring and reporting of major risk categories in respective jurisdictions.
- Lead/ roll-out ERM-related trainings, working with the local teams, to foster closer engagements and build effective risk culture and awareness.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in enterprise/operational risk management/ technology risk or audit is preferred (but not compulsory)
- Preferable background in the Insurance Industry or Financial Services Industry
- Familiar with Bank Negara Malaysia regulations for direct general insurers
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Good team player with the attitude to excel
- Good analytical and writing skills (operational risk events, committee minutes etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with good attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential
- Willing and able to continuously learn, take ownership and adapt to a dynamic and fast changing environment.

Due to the rapid expansion of our business across SEA, we are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst/Risk Lead to help us strengthen the risk function specifically for the new and growing markets. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk strategies, conducting fraud investigations, and coordinating with the Functional Office.
If you are interested in applying for this position, you should have a relevant educational background and several years of experience in risk management, fraud investigations, and anti-fraud compliance. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with data analysis tools, and the ability to work with large datasets are also important. Additionally, effective communication and teamwork skills are necessary for this role. Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is essential for working with the Functional Department.
What you’ll do- Coordinate with the Malaysia Anti-Fraud Team and the Functional Office to develop risk strategies and conduct fraud investigations.
- Collaborate with the Functional Office to implement anti-fraud measures and controls specific for all SEA markets
- Implement an Operational Risk framework, monitoring risk metrics for SEA, and developing market-specific risk controls.
- Lead and drive standardization, automation, and consolidation through process improvement initiatives across SEA.
- Identify and track Key Risk Indicators to support strategy testing environments and daily operations across SEA.
- Ensure effective disaster recovery for fraud incidents for all SEA markets.
- Create strategies to detect and enforce risk policies for all SEA markets.
- Review strategies with regional and local operations for SEA markets and the Functional Office to ensure appropriate thresholds are set.
- Develop ad-hoc strategies to detect and mitigate monetary losses for the SEA markets.
- Proficient in SQL
- Proven track record of applying analytical/statistical methods to solve real-world problems using data
- Mandarin speakers are preferred as this role will be working closely with Hong Kong and China counterparts.
- Organized and self-motivated individual, comfortable operating within ambiguity
- Strong communication skills required to operate across multiple departments and stakeholders
- Desire to continually learn, adapt and work in a fun, fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with a preference for those with working experience in Trust & Safety/Risk Management.
- 4+ years of experience in Risk, Trust & Safety, Fraud investigations, and Anti-fraud compliance/management.
