Job Description

Associate, Copywriter( Crypto & Digital experience)- Contract

About us

Appnovation is a global, full-service digital partner that combines Strategy, Experience & Design, Engineering and Managed Services. We build digital solutions that deliver real impact today and serve as foundations for future growth. Bold ambition. Practical action. Endless possibilities.

As a Copywriter at Appnovation, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our clients' brand narratives across digital platforms. Our client is a forward-thinking luxury brand exploring Web3 and crypto-integrated experiences. You'll craft compelling content that resonates with both mainstream and crypto-native audiences, enhancing user engagement across apps, marketing channels, and community platforms.

You will be responsible for:
  • Create Compelling Microcopy : Write concise, clear, and intuitive microcopy for app navigation, wallet onboarding, NFTs, DeFi features, and other blockchain-related user interface elements.

  • Develop a Consistent Brand Voice : Ensure all written content reflects a tone that balances luxury lifestyle with innovation, trust, and the decentralised ethos of Web3.

  • Drive Engagement Through Messaging : Craft impactful push notifications and email copy to drive engagement, retention, and action—especially for launches of new Web3 features, token drops, or exclusive NFT collections.

  • Promotional Content Creation : Write marketing copy for new crypto-enabled features or digital product launches, including descriptions, call-to-actions, and educational support text.

  • Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with product, UX, design, and marketing teams to ensure consistency in tone and terminology, particularly for complex blockchain concepts.

  • Stay Current : Keep up-to-date with crypto trends, terminology, regulatory nuances, and community tone to ensure your copy feels native to both luxury and crypto-savvy audiences.

  • Content Optimization : Leverage user data and feedback to refine messaging. Participate in testing sessions and update content based on user behavior and market reception.

  • Maintain Style Guidelines : Help refine and evolve writing guidelines to align with both the brand's heritage and its Web3 ambitions.
Interpersonal Skills :
  • Empathy : Ability to write with both a high-end user and a Web3-native audience in mind, understanding their motivations, doubts, and pain points.

  • Communication : Strong ability to explain complex crypto concepts clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience.

  • Problem-Solving : Use language as a tool to reduce friction and build user trust in blockchain-integrated features.

  • Cultural Fit : Appreciation for the intersection of luxury and innovation, and a passion for shaping the future of digital experiences.

Who you are:
  • Proven Experience : 1–2 years (or more) experience as a copywriter in digital or crypto-related environments. Portfolio should include experience in writing UX copy, product copy, or marketing materials for Web3, blockchain, NFTs, or fintech products.

  • Exceptional Writing Skills : Strong Chinese writing skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into elegant, user-friendly copy. You can switch between informative, promotional, and community tones with ease.

  • Crypto Native (or Fluent) : You have a deep understanding of crypto/web3 culture, terminology, and user behavior—or you’re a fast learner who's genuinely curious about the space.

  • Digital & Data Savvy : Familiar with A/B testing, funnel optimization, and data-informed content strategy.

  • Team-Oriented : Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  • Creative Thinker : Able to ideate on campaigns that blend lifestyle branding with emerging technologies.

If you're excited to shape how luxury meets crypto through digital storytelling, we invite you to join our team and help define what elegant, intuitive, and on-brand communication looks like in the Web3 era.
