Drive Strategy Through Execution at the Heart of a High-Growth Fintech
At BJAK, we’re scaling rapidly across Southeast Asia with a mission to simplify access to insurance and financial services for millions. We’re looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) leader to join the CEO’s Office and take charge of executing company-wide priorities.
This is a high-impact, high-trust role designed for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, brings clarity to chaos, and delivers results under pressure. You’ll work directly with the CEO and department heads (Operations, Marketing, Finance, HR, and more) to turn strategic goals into execution and execution into outcomes.
This is not a passive, reporting-focused position; it’s a role for someone who acts like an owner, brings structure and urgency to everything they do, and is willing to step up anytime top management needs something done fast and right.
Why This Role Matters
- Translate the CEO’s vision into concrete, trackable, and measurable execution.
- Accelerate cross-functional initiatives across the company’s most critical priorities.
- Create structure and visibility in a high-speed, high-ambiguity environment.
- Influence company productivity, scale, and transformation through operational discipline
- Build and implement a structured PMO framework to enable speed, clarity, and accountability.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable, measurable project plans
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from ideation through execution
- Track and report on project KPIs, proactively identify bottlenecks, and resolve them quickly
- Facilitate project check-ins, syncs, and retrospectives to ensure progress and alignment
- Provide analysis and recommendations to improve delivery, focus, and impact
- Establish scalable governance practices, templates, and reporting structures
- Leverage tools such as Jira, Notion, Trello, and dashboards to centralize project visibility
- Have a strong bias for action - you don’t wait to be told, you take initiative
- Are comfortable working beyond regular hours when critical priorities require it
- Are highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented - even in fast-paced chaos
- Can switch between strategy and hands-on execution with ease
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels
- Are outcome-driven - you focus on impact, not just activity
- Thrive in high-stakes situations and are trusted to “just get it done”
- Want to work directly with the CEO and senior leadership in a growth-stage company
- 3–6 years of experience in project management, business operations, or strategy execution
- Consulting background (Big 4 or similar) is strongly preferred
- Strong grasp of PMO methodologies, delivery frameworks, and strategic execution
- Proven track record leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives
- Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and aligning diverse teams
- An analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Notion, Trello, Excel, and reporting dashboards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- MBA or a Master’s in Business, Strategy, or a related field
- Experience in digital transformation or enterprise process optimization
- Knowledge of OKRs, agile/scrum, or operational scaling in startups
We’re a lean, high-performance team that moves fast and holds a high bar. Titles don’t matter here - output, integrity, and ownership do. Everyone is expected to roll up their sleeves, contribute meaningfully, and take initiative.
We reward people who think like owners. We value speed, clarity, and relentless ownership. If you’re hungry to grow and care deeply about excellence, this is your kind of environment.
What You’ll Get
- Competitive compensation tied to the impact you create
- Direct exposure to executive leadership and company-level decision-making
- Career acceleration in a high-performance, founder-led environment
- Remote flexibility with autonomy and ownership over your work
- A flat, fast-paced team that values clarity, urgency, and accountability
- A chance to lead company-defining initiatives in a mission-driven fintech powered by AI
BJAK is Southeast Asia’s largest digital insurance platform, headquartered in Malaysia with operations in Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan. We help millions of users access affordable, comprehensive protection by simplifying complex financial services through technology. With deep investments in AI, automation, and digital infrastructure, we are building the future of financial services - faster, smarter, and more inclusive.
If you're ready to move fast, operate with ownership, and execute directly alongside leadership, we’d love to hear from you.
