JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To study and evaluate the process engineering of plant to meet the product quality specification and monitor the process control.
  • Design systems and processes and provide facilities & methods to ensure the cost-effective integration of new products or for the improvement of existing ones into manufacturing operations.
  • Generating production documentation such as assembly instructions.
  • Establish and maintain Standard of Operating procedures and work instruction for all manufacturing processes.
  • Organize plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time.
  • Submit monthly report on the performance of production to superior together with supporting documents.
  • Monitor the daily job performance via manpower arrangement and attendance records.
  • Schedule, monitor and control on the daily job input and output. The planning instruction shall submit to superior for verification purpose before release.
  • Highlight any issues arise with progress to resolve it with other related department personnel
  • Work with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Response for mobilize action during emergency of incident & accident related to plant process.
  • Monitor maintenance activities inclusive cost of expensed, spare part inventory and preventive corrective activities of each plant by working closely with Maintenance Department in order to control the maintenance cost within the budget and minimize process downtime related to equipment breakdown.

Position Summary

Plant Initiative Engineer isresponsible for the initiation and implementation of plant initiatives and projects; being a key contributor to coordinate all products, material, and project related activities for the plant. You will play an important role to:

2) To keep all safety and health, technical, economic, environmental, and legal norms during complete project.

3) To execute project work activities according to the Quality & Environmental Management System and Safety & Health regulations e.g., firefighting routines and hygiene guidelines.

4) To secure right of knowledge transfer to the organization in relationship with the project / initiative.

5) To responsible ensuring standards (machine handbook) are up to date, work with Process Engineer to update standards for new line, equipment, and material. Tracking standard which links to FWOC as material usage and consumption.

6) To responsible for machine FWOC, perform necessary audit on material usage / consumption and prioritize analysis on machine financial waste.

7) To identify and make available new technology improvements and perform technology benchmark between production lines, teams, and other plants.

8) To participate in Daily Operation Meeting (DOM) & WOM whenever necessary.

9) To support Business Unit members and Technical team on improvements when there are Technology / Process / Quality issues.

10) Actively participate in material rationalization & innovation and join monthly initiative meeting with accurate information based on data/facts.

11) To ensure effective communication across departments in projects / initiative.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of working experience in manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG) / project management
  • Good Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (communication to both levels, shop floor and top management)
  • Knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Knowledge and experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) & Enterprise Resource Plan (ERP) system is a plus
  • Thinks logically and use facts and data to drive efficient discussions

Building/Plant/Facility Engineer to join our team! Asiamost Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad. This company are doing fire-fighting system and electrical system for building. Our company has about 40 and above employees working together towards a common goal of achieving excellence. We are a company focused on talent development to help build our expanding business Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines. Formally evaluates the performance of team members and champions the professional development of the team. Manage attendance as part of team performance and coverage for absence/vacation requests. Build the capability of the Facility Technicians with the facility equipment, controls, and systems and establish daily work standards to maintain equipment reliability. Use Lean principles and tools to drive a continuous improvement culture to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost. Good direct interaction with all facility customers or inter-department personnel and fulfill job requests accordingly in a timely manner. All job requests should attend to within 30min – 1-hour assessment and completed based on job criticality or type. Assist facility technician and closely follow up. Develop training plans and material, write SOPs, and verify activities are performed as specified in documented work instructions. Lead root-cause investigations for facility equipment-related issues, deploy corrective actions, and develop preventive actions to eliminate recurrence with test equipment. Responsible for reporting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance concerns to leadership. Assist all authority, internal or relevant body audits, annual authority inspection, and statutory license renewal. e.g DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, SPKA, KPDNKK, and system application license renewal. Complete periodic reviews and other compliance documentation aligned with the site QMS. Carry out, Assist, and plan preventative maintenance, and emergent repairs for facilities system (HVAC system and operations – air conditioning, heating and refrigeration units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, Biosafety cabinet, Pass box (dynamic & static), LAF, Fume hood, Cold room (chiller & freezer), refrigeration system, all related to Air condition work, LEV and etc.). Performed Cleanroom Area qualification activity-based ISO class 8 and 9 and maintain a grade of designwith follow ASHRAE standards and guidelines. Good knowledge of technical work and Hand on experience in troubleshooting and analyzing problems. Knowledge of pharmaceutical documentation work such as Deviation, CCR, Investigation report, preparing protocol, preparing PM Planner, Calibration Planner, Calibration master list, Prepare SOP, Prepare monitoring logbook, checklist for PPM, and other related document for the Facilities system. Good knowledge of monitoring and controlling systems such as BAS (building Automation system), BMS (Building management system), Control system, and EMS (Environmental monitoring system). Knowledge of safety permits and job hazard analyses (JHAs) to ensure the safe execution of projects or maintenance activities and assist the EHSS team. Assist and involve in any drill exercise such as Fire drill, Emergency response. etc Analyse adverse trends and implemented corrective actions. e.g. energy, water consumption, and facility system Ensure to contribute to quality plans that have minimal interruptions and smooth return to service. Trained in-house technicians and contractors as required. Good knowledge of electrical works. Good knowledge and managing chiller, and cooling tower operations. All types of HVAC systems, and LEV systems such as preparing work schedules, assigning a daily job, tracking assigned jobs, and preparing daily incident reports of activity for supervisor and technician. Responsible for adherence to site and corporate QMS for HVAC Systems. Manage calibration activity to all measuring and monitoring equipment of the HVAC system. Assist with monthly reports of the facility department. Good knowledge of CDA, Dryer, and Vacuum systems. Relate to daily operation, PPM.etc. Good knowledge of building maintenance (structure, drainage, water supply, Civils, sewerage, clean room environment) Knowledge of Solar energy systems and energy efficiency program Manage contractors, vendors, and outsource service providers. Knowledge in drafting service and maintenance agreements. Maintain inventory of spare parts for critical components and consumable parts of the equipment. Knowledge of PRONTO system (system application and product). Always ready to carry out any new task assigned from time to time by a superior. Requirement : Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in electrical & electronics engineering, or equivalent background. 2-3 Years of experience with Facilities systems or relevant experience from manufacturing -PCBA, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and cleanroom industry. 2-3 Years of experience supervising or leading facilities division in a high-volume production environment. Chargeman certificate is an advantage. Process oriented and uses data to make decisions. Ability to fulfill job responsibilities in a fast-paced/high-volume production environment. Committed to job roles without hesitation. Strong PC and troubleshooting skills. Main missions :

Group PLANT LAYOUT Principal Engineer

The Group Technical Standard and Assurance has multiple responsibilities as follows:

  • Develop and maintain SBM technical knowledge through the issue of the Group Technical Standard and Group Technical Guideline
  • Ensure Technical Compliance with GTS and Technical Integrity of EPCI and Internal development Projects deliverables (attending key meetings and reviewing key deliverables)
  • Support the tendering activities by framing the proposals technical content (concept/framing overall plot plans, Weight control, high level assessment of bid package).
  • Support the development of SBM standard and future products.
  • Provide Group wide technical support on specific expertise and sensitive technical issues (from feasibility to decommissioning)
  • Support the development of SBM standard products whenever necessary.

To which you will contribute as follows:

  • You will report directly to the SBM Group Plan Layout Technical Authority.
  • You act as a group discipline expert and contribute to above activities, interacting with internal and external Stakeholders, keeping an eye on the innovative technology developed by vendors, promoting best practices and technical solutions.
  • With regards to the design verification plan, you attend key meetings such as Major projects design reviews, human factor ergonomics reviews, weight reviews, HAZID reviews, project audits both from Monaco and around the world as required and during the full Life Cycle of our products.
  • At Concept / Framing phase, you collaborate cross discipline and department so to provide overall layout(s) and weight estimation(s), till handover to pre-feed/feed phase.
  • Post-handover of the Concept / Framing to Project team, you are providing weight and layout data analytics.
  • You contribute to define and monitor KPI for plant layout discipline (including weight and bulk data from all disciplines) .
  • You collect and analyse fleet data including lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • You contribute to the development of the group technical standards and guidelines.
  • You provide layout expertise (when/as required) in the qualification of vendors and subcontractors, and in general to all company stakeholders and levels in SBM organization.

Job requirements

School/studies/degree :

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent

Experience :

  • You typically have at least 10 years of experience in plant layout and piping design, material handling, human factor ergonomics engineering and design for Oil & Gas units with a strong background in topsides design. Mooring and Marine/Naval design background is a plus.
  • FLNG and Semi-Sub project and renewables project experience is a plus.
  • Has a solid track-record of EPCIO projects and understands the full life cycle of a unit.

Tools:

  • You are fluent with AVEVA PDMS E3D design software
  • You are fluent with NAVISWORK design review and manage software
  • You are fluent with MS office ( word / excel / power point)
