- Possess at minimum, a valid Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) certification from NIOSH Malaysia. Other post graduate Occupational Health/Occupational Medicines maybe considered. Preferably 5 years’ experience or more practicing Occupational Health post attainment of postgraduate qualification
- Strong clinical skills and broad experience in various medical disciplines. Highly articulate with excellent command of written and spoken English. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job SummaryThe Medi-Spa Physician administers cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests. They must have excellent communication skills and be able to provide aesthetic medical solutions, safely and effectively, to address the concerns of onboard guests. The Medi-Spa Physicians are expected to work with The Medi-Spa Sales Consultant, who will assist them with the sales, marketing, and promotional aspects of the position. The Medi-Spa Sales Consultant will also translate for the Medi-Spa Physicians if necessary. The Medi-Spa Physicians are expected to gain knowledge of the spa services and products in an effort to cross-promote these services to guests. The Medi-Spa Physician will review and give final approval for all service/treatment plans organized and booked by the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant.
Position Requirements- Possess the ability to work without direct supervision and actively promote the services to the guests.
- Work closely with the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant.

- At the conclusion of the treatment, review Aftercare Instructions with the guest and provide them with a copy.
- Conclude by thanking the guest for the opportunity to take care of them. Schedule a follow-up appointment and assist them with scheduling at the front desk.
- Clean your room and set up for your next guest.
- Do not stand around the front desk between services. Treatment room should look the same at the start and end of every day and between each guest.
- Dispose of open unused needles.
- Dispose of Bio-Hazard bag if full.
- Take Sharps Container to Medical facility if full.
- Sterilize table and countertops.
- Fill out inventory control form.
- Lock product storage cabinets.
- Lock treatment room.
- Email daily revenue report to shore side team.

- In some cases, it is impossible to fairly book services if you are not qualified to perform all services.
- Medi-Spa Physicians are not allowed to refuse or trade services that they are certified to perform. Guest requests cannot be moved or changed without the Spa Manager’s approval.
- All staff members are required to perform general duties during their scheduled hours, as directed by the manager onboard. General duties may include, but are not limited to, promotional duties, port cleaning, staff meetings, training and stock inventory. Please be guided by your Spa Manager’s instructions.
- Be familiar with OneSpaWorld’s ‘GPS’ to safety.
- Understand and practice the required self-screening procedures.
- Understand and follow the agreed-upon procedures for symptomatic guests or employees.
- Understand and adhere to staff and guest Physical Distancing Policy.
- Understand and adhere to Staff Personal Hygiene Policy.

About the Role
To manage cost and cost containment efforts for covered members and policyholders of AIA health insurance policies related to specialist costs. To build cordial business relationship with specialist doctors, medical directors and panel providers and ensure medical claims costs are contained effectively with regular performance dialogues, scorecard management and monitoring of utilization with the use of analytics.Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Specialist Management
i) New Specialist Panel-ship.
- To manage and grow a network of specialist doctors who provide cashless and cost-efficient service to covered members including recruitment, utilization management, and termination.
- To provide the relevant assessment study for new specialist and provide recommendations based on credentialing guidelines and cost requirements.
ii) Provider Engagement.
- To create an engagement platform with medical directors, hospital management and specialists (as required) as opportunity to highlight cost and behavior of specialists to improve
- To provide and receive feedback from specialists, medical directors and head of departments from providers by monitoring behavior and evaluating the performance of specialist doctors based on claims utilization, market best practice, service level, adherence to fee schedule and possible fraud for mutual improvement.
iii) Relationship Management/Communication
- To arrange and manage specialist communication, engagement sessions, appeal process to enable a feedback loop to ensure cost is managed
2. Scorecard Management and Review
- To create and manage specialist doctor’s scorecard to monitor specialist cost
- To engage with medical directors, specialists to explain and understand scorecards
- To monitor specialist cost and decide on specialist removal, continue within watchlist etc. for further action.
3. Internal & External Communication
- to provide timely communications internally (to AHS), and externally to providers, and hospital management to inform on the status of specialists.
- To proactively manage speclaists inquiries, and managing the relationship with medical directors alongside hospital network partnership team
4. Health Analytics
- To provide actionable insights from the relevant dashboards related to specialists
- To provide actionable insights from data and audit findings on cost, quality indicators of specialists specifically; average cost, Length of Stay, and bill size statistics (Percentiles and Probabilities) especially for scorecard management.
- To support on performing quarterly bill reviews of specialists from specific hospitals, or specialty for diagnosis/procedures for identifying major cost contributors in the bill.
- To identify the right procedures, providers and pricing for package pricing and any cost containment related initiatives.
5. Cost Management
- To participate with team in executing Specialist Management Strategy to achieve targeted medical inflation targets.
- To maximize cost savings on specialist cost management
- To support special projects that may incur significant savings and impact on medical inflation.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Degree in Health or Life Sciences, Allied Health or relevant disciplines
- Working experience in healthcare or managed care or insurance industry.
- Knowledge in healthcare management, experience in nursing and medical advancement.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, able to manage people, fundamental knowledge in accounting principles, good analytical skills, proficiency in basic computer operating software like MS Office, willing to travel for job assignments.

Board certification or similar international certification in Plastic Surgery or Dermatology preferred but not required. Comfortable with giving presentations/speaking in front of large groups. The Medi-Spa Physician administers cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests. They must possess the clinical knowledge to administer these procedures safely and effectively, and be able to explain all aspects of the products and services accurately. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide aesthetic medical solutions are essential. They work with the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant, who assists with sales, marketing, and promotional activities, and may translate if necessary. The Physician should cross-promote spa services and review all treatment plans organized by the Sales Consultant. Position requirements include working independently, promoting services, enthusiasm, customer service skills, presentation skills, teamwork, and basic computer knowledge. Duties and Responsibilities
Be punctual for appointments. Provide professional medi-spa services following protocols. Conduct patient follow-up as needed. Support the spa and guest needs with flexible scheduling. Care for equipment and manage supplies to control costs. Follow pricing policies and complete medical records for each guest. Cross-promote other spa services. Maintain sanitation and sterilization standards. Manage inventory of medical products and supplies. Communicate incidents involving staff or guests to management. Handle guest questions and concerns professionally. Respond promptly to guest requests. Maintain a positive work environment and participate in training and meetings. Assist in spa operations and train new staff in medi-spa services. Follow operational policies and report daily and end-of-cruise reports. General Guidelines
Review guest consultation information prior to services. Complete and store medical records and consent forms. Review aftercare instructions and schedule follow-up appointments. Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, inviting, and properly stocked. Perform end-of-day cleaning and inventory procedures. Service Booking and Policy
Maintain a safe, stress-free environment. Book only qualified services, and adhere to policies for protection, sanitization, and service procedures. Follow staff guidelines for hygiene, PPE, disinfection, and documentation.

Skills and Qualifications Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution and post graduate qualification in Occupational Health / Occupational Medicine. Full Registration with the Malaysian Medical Council. Possess at minimum, a valid Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) certification from NIOSH Malaysia. Other post graduate Occupational Health/Occupational Medicines maybe considered. Preferably 5 years’ experience or more practicing Occupational Health post attainment of postgraduate qualification Strong clinical skills and broad experience in various medical disciplines. Highly articulate with excellent command of written and spoken English. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience with supporting cases remotely by telehealth an advantage. Time flexibility and able to work within global time zone environment Preferred Skills Prior corporate or high-risk industries (e.g., oil & gas, manufacturing, construction) experience Additional certifications (e.g., Audiometry, Spirometry, OGUK, OGSP).
