The Front Office Assistant greets and registers guests, providing prompt and courteous service. He / she checks guests in and out, resolving guest challenges throughout their stay in our hotel. This role upgrades guests as required and promotes the hotel's services.
**What will I be doing?**
As the Front Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rates.
- Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guests' needs, code electronic keys, confirms the room number and rates with a written confirmation.

- Promptly answer the telephone and email inquiries, inputting messages into the computer and advising other team members of special guests' needs.

Assist in logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys. Answer phone calls and record messages.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
