• Ensure product quality across mobile and web by planning, executing, and leading testing from start to launch.
• Coordinate testing schedules, organize test sessions, and manage defect triage.

• Conduct smoke testing before major releases and beta rollouts.

• Be the subject matter expert for the Student Learning team’s product and testing practices.

Your Requirements:

• 3+ years of QA experience (manual & automated) on web and mobile (iOS & Android).
• Skilled in automation tools like Cypress (preferred), Playwright, or Selenium.
• Hands-on in writing test plans, identifying bugs, and testing complex app features.
• Strong eye for product quality and user experience.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.
• Curious and resourceful when investigating tricky bugs.
• Able to work overlapping hours with U.S. time zones (e.g., 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM MYT).

As a QA Engineer at Ezypay, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative payment solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues, and ensure our software products meet the highest standards.

Your expertise in both manual and automated testing methods will be essential as you contribute to our continuous improvement efforts and help maintain a high level of quality across all releases.

As the QA Engineer you are expected to be capable of being hands-on with our platform and our test tools, as well as focusing on the quality of software Ezypay releases. Here’s a high-level view of how we work:

• Our next generation payments platform is hosted on Java microservices running on AWS infrastructure.
• We develop frontend systems using the Vue and Ionic frameworks.
• We leverage build automation (specifically CircleCI), and we’re working toward continuous deployment across all environments.
• We utilise the Karate testing framework heavily for API end to end testing, alongside Postman.
• We utilise Playwright and Cypress for UI test automation.
• We follow agile principles and maintain a suite of regression tests in Jira

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Work closely with product and development teams to ensure timely delivery of a project
• Identify bottlenecks in quality assurance process and suggest actions for improvement

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or relevant Information Technology industry experience.
• 2-5 years industry experience with an in-depth understanding of Agile processes
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured)
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Proficient in software testing theories, methods, and technologies, with a deep understanding of financial or transactional systems being an added advantage.
• Ability to analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues

Position: QA Engineer

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM3,500 – RM4,500

Responsibilities

· Responsible to ensure certification and compliance on ISO9001; FSSC 22000; HACCP ; GMP+ FSA and EFfCI GMP

· Creating or Inculcating awareness of quality and food/feed safety system.

· Lead investigation for customer complaints and monitor completion of corrective actions as per target for. respective business areas.

· Verification corrective actions implementation its effectiveness
To provide training to shop floor employees on HACCP & GMP as per training schedule

· To drive for improvement within QA department for efficiency on the execution of job

· To review and revise controlled documents on periodic basis if there if any changes required ( Manual; SOP; WI; records etc.)

· To be well equipped with proper knowledge and skills on structured root cause analysis to establish effective response for any non conformance.

· Coordinate for completion and compliance of customer questionnaire; customer, internal and third party audit.

· Assist on compliance of Sustainability standards requirements and conduct vendor audit as per annual plan in respect of Quality / Food & Feed Safety standards

· Conduct periodic inspections and rectify if there is any deviation in terms Quality / Food & Feed Safety Management System

Requirement

· Candidates must possess Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Science or equivalent

· At least 1-2 years of working experience in Manufacturing field.

· Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office.

· Advantage working experience in food industry

· Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Able to work independently and less supervised.
