How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?
As the Analyst, HR Services under Payroll team , you:
- Responsible for completing the payroll run and all subsequent activities that includes payroll results validation, salary disbursement,
- payroll posting to Finance as well as statutory submission as per the agreed service levels for payroll managed by SSC.
- Liaise closely with the payroll-outsourced vendors (for countries utilizing outsource vendor) to perform the relevant payroll validation and
- ensure accuracy of the payroll results before requesting for approval of the payroll results.
- Provide resolution to relevant payroll queries escalated from the service desk team.
- Contribute to issues resolution during internal payroll process and HR review meetings.
- Work closely with HR Shared Service Centre Payroll Team Lead to execute any process improvements within the department.
- Perform regular updates and enhancements to job aids, standard operating procedures, FAQs, knowledge database and other reference
- materials to assist in resolving employee enquiries and issues.
- Support HR Shared Service Centre Payroll Team Lead in any providing the relevant information or documentations required by internal /
- external auditors to assist with the periodic audit reviews.
- As Payroll Analyst for China, process the payroll in-house using a system called Platinum.
HR Shared Service Transition
Support the setup activities of a HR Shared Service which includes the following but not limited to:
- Transition activities across APAC ensuring compliance to standardized processes as well as statutory regulations.
- Support the implementation of HR Shared Services supporting tools and technologies
- Support key activities (i.e. training and etc) for a successful transition to the shared service center.
Who Are We Looking For?
The successful candidate should have:
- 1 - 2 years of Japan payroll operations experience. Experience in a shared services environment or large organisations will be an advantage.
- Experience is liaising with outsourced payroll providers and country authorities, particularly Japan
- Experience in processing Japan payroll and end-to-end payroll activities.
- Experience with APAC countries payroll and labour regulations - particularly for Japan
- Fluent communication skills in English and Japanese , both written and spoken. Additional languages a plus
- Knowledge in payroll systems to perform the relevant payroll activities.
- Knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft Office / Google suite of software particularly Excel / Sheets.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality with the handling of the payroll data and results.
- Knowledge of data privacy act and other payroll related regulations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with several years of Payroll/Accounting Assistant who will be part of our International Payroll and Accounting Team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Job Duties
Tasks and responsibilities of this role include;
- Payroll processing of a subset of employees on a semi-monthly, multi-state basis for employees in Asia (Malaysia & Korea), the US, Canada and UK
- Act as a liaison to employees to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies
- Verifies files from outside department for accuracy
- Audits employee pay records and corrects discrepancies
- Audit and approves timecards for accuracy following company, state, federal and international guidelines.
- Data input for new hire paperwork, and employee changes which includes but is not limited to tax forms, direct deposit, BACS, garnishments, and support orders.
- Audit payroll transactions from HR/Payroll interface, data entry changes and worksheets entries before and after payroll transmission
- Assists in Monthly, Quarterly and annual reports/audits.
- Communicate cross functionally across and outside the business
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll, accounting assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Able to work with minimal Supervision
- Experience with payroll processing and report writing systems.
- Oracle Experience or similar system experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat files
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated, positive and pro-active work attitude
- Ability to prioritize, consistently meet datelines and multitask
- Must be fluent in English, other language a plus

Responsibilities
Collaborates with Product Specialists to understand country-specific payroll compliance requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development of the country’s payroll engine.
Educate Product team on legislation, ensure the correct implementation of technical specifications by the Development team through testing
Develop and maintain legislative specifications for reports and integrations and ensure new in-country requirements are addressed in product for ongoing compliance.
Ensures continuous upskilling and compliance awareness of Product team by collaborating on new in-country requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution
4+ years of payroll experience in Australia country and advanced knowledge of local payroll
Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines timely and accurately
Strong verbal and written skills to connect with clients and align with various stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills, explaining complex issues at an understandable level
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
Strong proficiency in English
Experience in multiple country jurisdictions is an advantage

We are seeking to hire an experienced Manager - Benefits Administration and Reporting to join the team based in Kuala Lumpur. As part of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Benefits Administration
Lead a team responsible for benefits administration, ensuring consistent service, accuracy, and timely execution of processes.
Manage the implementation, day-to-day operations, and compliance of employee benefit programs for employees globally.
Work closely with the Global Reward team to support the development and execution of benefits strategy through effective operational delivery.
Oversee all aspects of benefits operations, including enrolment, eligibility tracking, plan updates, and vendor coordination.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation across all operating countries, demonstrating a sound understanding of local regulatory requirements.
Act as the escalation point for complex employee benefit inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Reporting & Analytics
Lead a team responsible for reporting activities, providing guidance, coaching, and promoting best practices.
Oversee HR reporting and analytics, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of insights.
Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into actionable outputs.
Provide guidance on reporting tools and promote best practices across the team.
Requirement
5–10 years of experience in benefits administration, ideally within a global shared services environment.
