About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous, proactive Legal Secretary (Litigation) to support partners and associates across criminal, civil & commercial disputes, and public law matters. You'll be the operational backbone—owning documents, deadlines, filings, and client coordination in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities
Document production: Format and prepare pleadings, affidavits, submissions, bundles of documents/authorities, letters, and emails (MS Word styles, TOCs, authorities tables, pagination, bookmarks).
Court e-filing: Manage e-Courts/e-Filing (filing, service, extracting sealed copies), track returns and acknowledgements, and maintain accurate cause lists.
Diary & deadline control: Maintain court and internal calendars; monitor timelines (filing/service, case management, hearings, appeals).
Bundle management: Compile, index, and paginate bundles (PDF tools/Adobe Acrobat), ensure version control, and prepare hard copies when required.
Client & counsel liaison: Arrange signings, affirmations/commissioning, couriers, and service; coordinate with counsel, experts, and chambers.
Billing & admin: Time entries, draft invoices, open/close files, KIV systems, expenses/OT forms, and travel arrangements.
