As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for building a team in a player-coach capacity – contributing to a design strategy, crafting exceptional experiences and scaling your impact by growing the people under you. You will collaborate closely with leaders across the business, executing end-to-end design initiatives.

What will you do?

The Product Design Lead supports trading platforms for the capital markets business. This is one of the most valuable areas in the company and the hiring standards will reflect that:

Responsibilities

• Hire Senior Designers and create an environment where they can thrive.
• Set quality standards for the team.
• Rapidly iterate on designs based on feedback from end users.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of product managers, traders, engineers, and executive leaders to drive complex, strategic initiatives.
• Communicate complex information using interaction design tools, including user flows, wireframes, etc.
• Create prototypes, presentations, and videos to showcase product vision and get buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Contribute to an existing design system to ensure consistency across our applications and improve the experience across the trading universe.
  
  

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of design management experience.
• Experience working with cross functional teams in shipping transactional experiences.
• Strong visual eye / background in visual design.
• Portfolio with link & password. If the portfolio is not accessible the candidate will not be considered.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS & Javascript.
• Familiarity with Design Thinking methodology.

What You Will Do

Support NPDs, MODs, standard options, and legacy product maintenance

Manage and deliver assigned engineering projects successfully

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customer-aligned solutions

Coordinate multiple projects with Engineering, Manufacturing, AQP, Tooling, and Reliability

Lead technical efforts to meet design and production requirements

Create and maintain models, drawings, specs, DVP&Rs, and test documentation

Develop expertise in assigned product families (e.g. PSD, PDD, PK, PS, AS, TS)

Organize and prioritize tasks independently with supervision as needed

Align daily activities with organizational goals and the PBM framework

Manage engineering changes through ECRs and ECNs

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

Fundamental understanding of Product Design & Development principles

Knowledge of material selection for plastic and metal components, factoring in mechanical, thermal, electrical, and environmental considerations

Basic grasp of Electrical Engineering concepts

Familiarity with SAP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead and contribute to virtual meetings

Self-motivated and quick to learn, able to work independently with minimal supervision

Skilled in planning and following project timelines, including contingency planning

Proficient in data analysis and effective problem-solving

Ability to build strong collaboration, communicate effectively, and contribute to positive team dynamics

Awareness of Agile and Scrum methodologies

POSITION SUMMARY

The RF Engineer II performs sustaining engineering work in applied research, design, development, testing, manufacturing, and documentation of existing products or systems. Uses research techniques to analyze and validate design or theory concepts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the design and analysis of existing systems, products, and subsystems/circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals
• Review existing production released RF Match and RF Generator designs to become the expert knowledge holder of functionality, and performance using existing product documentation
• Responsible for broad technical knowledge of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, including but not limited to DC circuits, AC to DC converters, RF matching impedance networks, AC power factor correction, high power transistors and rectifiers, digital and analog loop stability, worse case component analysis, digital hardware, firmware, test and measurement systems, and electrical/safety regulatory compliance
• Diagnose issues of diverse scope with design, field performance, root cause/failure analysis, reliability and manufacturing test yields of existing RF products using formal investigation methods and to recommend/implement corrective actions to address. Perform design verification testing of proposed solutions and create summary reports or presentations.
• Follow key engineering procedures including the ECO process, Copy Exact and Product Development Process
• Identify product and process limitations and identify opportunities for product improvement
• Responsible for initiating and managing through to completion engineering changes using the ECO process
• Identify the engineering scope of work and plan/implement/report on engineering related activities using project management tools.
• Provide direction to engineering technicians or lower level engineers related to product specific work
• Design and analyze derivative products based on existing products and/or subsystems and circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals
• Analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods to monitor manufacturing performance
• Collaborate with engineering management to respond to changing priorities derived from inputs from Product Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Support, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical Service Organization, and Field Application Engineering.
• Identify, and evaluate obsolete components in existing designs, select possible replacement alternatives, and to re-design circuitry as required to meet performance criteria and functional transparency to original design.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Broad technical knowledge of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, including but not limited to RF circuits, AC to DC converters, AC power factor correction, high power transistors and rectifiers, digital and analog loop stability, magnetic design and RF test and measurement systems.
• Ability to learn and use professional concepts appropriate to engineering, including analytical methods, computer aided analysis and design tools, diagnostic instruments and test equipment, lab skills appropriate to design, selecting appropriate components and materials for designs.
• Ability to collaborate with others to scope projects, determine milestones, and achieve goals.
• Self motivated. Ability to self manage projects with moderate input and assistance.
• Strong organizational and follow through skills.
• Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be obtained.
• Ability to apply company policies and procedures to solve routine to complex technical issues.

EXPERIENCE

• 3-4 years of previous experience working in Engineering or similar.

**POSITION SUMMARY:**
The RF Engineer II performs sustaining engineering work in applied research, design, development, testing, manufacturing, and documentation of existing products or systems. Uses research techniques to analyze and validate design or theory concepts.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Support the design and analysis of existing systems, products, and subsystems/circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals
+ Review existing production released RF Match and RF Generator designs to become the expert knowledge holder of functionality, and performance using existing product documentation
+ Responsible for broad technical knowledge of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, including but not limited to DC circuits, AC to DC converters, RF matching impedance networks, AC power factor correction, high power transistors and rectifiers, digital and analog loop stability, magnetic design, worse case component analysis, digital hardware, firmware, test and measurement systems, and electrical/safety regulatory compliance
+ Diagnose issues of diverse scope with design, field performance, root cause/failure analysis, reliability and manufacturing test yields of existing RF products using formal investigation methods and to recommend/implement corrective actionstoaddress. Perform design verification testing of proposed solutions and create summary reports or presentations.
+ Follow key engineering procedures including the ECO process, Copy Exact and Product Development Process
+ Identify product and process limitations and identify opportunities for product improvement
+ Responsible for initiating and managing through to completion engineering changes using the ECO process
+ Identify the engineering scope of work and plan/implement/report onengineering related activities using project management tools.
+ Provide direction to engineering technicians or lower level engineers related to product specific work
+ Design and analyze derivative products based on existing products and/or subsystems and circuits to specification, cost, budget, schedule, and quality goals
+ Analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods to monitor manufacturing performance
+ Collaborate with engineering management to respond to changing priorities derived from inputs from Product Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Support, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical Service Organization, and Field Application Engineering.
+ Identify, and evaluate obsolete components in existing designs, select possible replacement alternatives, and to re-design circuitry as required to meet performance criteria and functional transparency to original design.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Broad technical knowledge of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, including but not limited to RF circuits, AC to DC converters, AC power factor correction, high power transistors and rectifiers, digital and analog loop stability, magnetic design and RF test and measurement systems.
+ Ability to learn and use professional concepts appropriate to engineering, including analytical methods, computer aided analysis and design tools, diagnostic instruments and test equipment, lab skills appropriate to design, selecting appropriate components and materials for designs.
