We are currently seeking a Field Sales (Hunter Role) to join DHL Global Forwarding Malaysia! The Field Sales (Hunter Role) will be responsible for achieving sales revenue targets through retention, development, and acquisition activities. This involves servicing and retaining existing customers and targeting new business opportunities.
Role responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships with a portfolio of Strategic Business Customers and prospects within a specific sector, serving as the primary contact and coordinating account activities, including Trade Lane involvement.
- Being assigned to one of the major products: Airfreight or Ocean Freight.
- Formulating a personal sales plan to identify and acquire new strategic prospects, aligned with the product focus, and maximizing growth within existing accounts to meet sales targets.
- Seeking additional business opportunities from existing or new customers outside the major products.
- Focusing on penetrating new FDI opportunities and expanding the rapidly growing customer base.
- Aligning sales activities with global and regional sector strategies.
- Building customer relationships through external and internal meetings to support business development.
- Achieving sales targets by maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring contractual performance, and proactive engagement.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities through regular reporting and analysis.

- Location: Melaka (frequent travel to other districts such as Batu Pahat and Seremban; reporting manager in Johor Bahru)

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a minimum of 6 customers daily at various construction sites
- Conduct daily product demonstrations to showcase Hilti solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
- Contribute to sales planning and maintain accurate performance records
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor landscape
Daily Duties:
- This job needs to go to construction sites very often to sell in products/solution to Main Contractor/Sub-contractor
- Use Salesforce to log client meetings and communication process, similar to Seek
- Prepare quotations using their quotation generation system
- Work with Credit team for collection of revenue and coordinate with Logistics team for delivery to client's construction site
Key Requirements:
Must-Have:

- If candidate resigns within 1 year: must pay back 50% of sponsored training expenses
- If resigns within 2 years (but more than 1 year): must pay back 25% of training costs

- Develop a clear understanding of customer business: products, services and organization
- Present RFQ’s with customer to ensure we are communicating our quote strengths and position for last look in final quote award
- Consistently follow-up on all bidding RFQs.
- Get involved in all Transfer Business inbound or outbound.
- Negotiate and close business with customer.
- Meet commitments made and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Communicate on an on-going basis with Inside Sales to ensure Customer Profile and all activities information is updated.
- Work with the All OEM future sales teams as needed to ensure Future maximize design efforts in those customers to drive greater penetration in both OEM and EMS customers.
RECOMMENDED CREDENTIALS:
EXPERIENCE
- Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the electronics, semiconductor, or supply chain industries is highly advantageous, but not a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant reporting tools is highly advantageous.
- Have thorough knowledge of Future Systems (CRM, Associates) and utilize to drive efficient work flow out the customer and back into the organization.
- Knowledge of product/technology is a plus

Job OverviewThe objective of this position is to perform aftermarket sales for cryogenic pump and turbo expander aftersales solutions. We are looking for a self-driven, motivated sales engineer with multiple years of experience in aftersales for cryogenic applications. A combination of product knowledge and business knowledge will be required to execute this mission. The successful candidate will be part of a growth journey doubling our aftermarket business over the next few years and will have a significant influence on future aftermarket sales development

- Follow up customers’ inquiries and technical request, understand technical specification, and prepare commercial quotations.
- Work with the Regional Sales Manager to create a business development plan.
- Provide and achieve targets to grow the Service Business unit to maximize volume and profitability.
- Promote and sell the NCS aftermarket products, including Service Agreements, Repairs, Field Services and Upgrades as offered to all existing and new customers.
- Be responsible for the maintenance and growth of the Service Contract business for all product groups of the CEIG Group in the assigned sales territory.
- Evaluate needs and negotiate contracts directly with key accounts or indirectly with 3rd Party Service Providers subject to designation of authority.
- Develop existing and build new customer relationships ensuring Nikkiso is seen as a long-term business partner.
- Aid prime equipment sales by maintaining and developing effective, working customer relationships via valued service products.
- Develop proposal for aftermarket sales campaigns for specific service products and markets/customers and align campaigns with the BLM, PLM and Business Development Manager leadership before execution.
- Monitor changes and developments within the industry and report to management.
- Promote all NCEIG product portfolio, follow-up and share sales leads internally.
- Document activities in our CRM program, Salesforce.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Familiarity with various sales techniques and methodologies.

The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Services Sales Account Manager to join our Services business and to make a significant impact. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with key clients. You will manage the services sales of our comprehensive range of electrical power distribution products and solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and business success.
What will you do?
- Responsible for integrating all Schneider Electric services around customer needs and looks after assigned key customers and industry segments.
- Responsible for creating and implementing specific plans.
- Works together with Service Operations, Projects and Business Unit sales.
- Ensures maximum awareness of the Schneider Electric Services portfolio in the assigned market space.
- Actively manages his/her funnel up to order closure to assure a consistent and growing business. Helps define and/or initiates new services and strategies.
- Secures customer satisfaction overseeing all ongoing activities with the customer (orders, delivery etc)
- Utilizes BFO (Salesforce.com) for sales funnel management, account planning, performance and opportunity detection via Sales Cockpit.
- Provides monthly forecasts, using BFO, and summaries in a timely manner.
- Monitors margin to be at or above country thresholds. Uses DOA process to escalate opportunities below thresholds.
- Regular collaboration with Operational Marketing team for thorough understanding of country Installed Base.
- Coordinates and/or attends trade shows and marketing/sales seminars as and when needed.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar field.
- Having adequate Electrical Power Distribution systems experience is a must.
- Any experience in Automation (Drives & PLC) would be an added value for this role.
- Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer. The concept of Customer Intimacy is critical in Field Services.
- Energetic, outgoing, proactive and have attention to prospecting and networking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including C-level customers
- Thorough knowledge of Schneider Electric services offers throughout the Asset Management Life Cycle of the product.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools. Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to leverage technology for communications and managing own performance
