**People**
+ Supervise and lead the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
+ Conduct daily pre-service briefings to communicate menu updates, VIP guests, and service expectations.

**Financial**
+ Monitor daily sales and assist with achieving outlet revenue targets through effective upselling and cost control.
+ Ensure proper stock rotation and manage par levels for restaurant inventory, including specialty Japanese items.
+ Verify cashiering procedures and compliance with financial policies including POS system accuracy.
+ Assist in planning and executing promotional events and seasonal menus with the culinary tea
**Guest Experience**
+ Deliver genuine hospitality by welcoming and engaging with guests, ensuring their satisfaction with food, beverage, and service.
+ Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, following up when necessary.
+ Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak hours, assisting service when needed.
+ Cultivate relationships with repeat guests and ensure a personalized experience aligned with Japanese dining culture.
**Responsible Business**
+ Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including Halal certification where applicable.
+ Support the Outlet Manager in audits, documentation, and reporting tasks as required.
+ Uphold IHG brand standards in service, environment, and guest interaction.
+ Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant according to luxury standards.
**Accountabilities**
+ Reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and supports in leading the service team.
+ Supervises front-of-house team members including waiter, and hostess.

**What We Need From You?**
+ Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
+ Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within a Japanese restaurant or luxury dining outlet.
+ Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese or other languages is a plus.
+ Deep knowledge of Japanese cuisine, dining etiquette, and beverages (sake, tea, etc.).
+ Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and guest engagement skills.

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. Position: Assistant Manager

Location: Senai, Johor

Reporting Line: Branch Manager (or it is equivalent)

Basic Salary: RM6,000 - RM7,000

Requirements :

  • 1. Minimum University Degree/ Diploma or equivalent qualification with minimum 4 years of marketing experience in the forwarding or logistics industry preferably have good contacts with Airlines, Shipping Lines, Transporters, etc.
  • 2. Must be mature, self-motivated, proactive, aggressive, and result oriented
  • 3. Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with good communication skills
  • 4. Ability to write and converse well in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • 5. Good general and some basic knowledge of customs procedures, Malaysia, and International Business
  • 6. Pleasant personality and possess own transport (Car) and driving license.
  • 7. Sales: minimum 4 years

Responsibilities :

  • 1. Secure new customers, service and maintain existing customers, attend to customer’s requests, and ensure customers satisfaction
  • 2. Prepare quotations pertaining to Airfreight, Sea freight, Trucking, and Warehousing. etc. according to the customer’s requirement
  • 3. Sent sales lead to Hankyu Hanshin Express overseas group offices and agents to generate additional overseas businesses.
  • 4. Secure R/O Import and prepare S/I for all import shipments secured for both air and ocean
  • 5. Correspond and communicate with Hankyu Hanshin Express’s overseas group office and agent via email, WhatsApp, and telephone pertaining to sales inquiries and information feedback on rates and shipment status.
  • 6. Coordinate and provide seamless information feedback from our customer service and operation staff on any special arrangement requested by/offered to customers to ensure smooth and excellent service.
  • 7. Get market information and feedback from customers.
  • 8 Together with the operations office, assist to request and negotiate competitive rates from Airlines, Shipping Lines, Transporters, Co-loader, etc
  • 9 Close follow-up on debtor’s repayment & submit Credit Application to Branch Manager for each new customer secured when credit term is requested
  • 10 To write Sales Reports and profiles of every new prospective customer visited, submit monthly Sales Reports and meet given sales target.

  • Oversee the implementation of best management practices for oil palm cultivation, including land preparation, planting, crop maintenance, and harvesting.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Field Supervisors and workers to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor pest and disease control measures to maintain the overall health of the palm trees.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of plantation infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, and irrigation systems.
  • Collect and analyse data on yield, productivity, and other key performance indicators.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the overall yield and profitability of the plantation.
  • Assist in the planning and allocation of resources, such as labour, machinery, and supplies, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor and report on the utilization of resources, and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including those related to environmental protection, labour practices, and occupational safety.
  • Promote sustainable farming practices and contribute to the development and implementation of the plantation’s environmental and social responsibility initiatives.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Mill Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Possess Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Plantation Management, Agriculture, Agriculture Science, Agronomy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the management of oil palm plantations or a similar agricultural setting.
  • Strong understanding of oil palm cultivation practices, including pest and disease management, harvesting, and post-harvest handling.
