Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Ensure that Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) usage at MT complies with the internal operating policies and does not introduce security, license or operational risk for METTLER TOLEDO (MT) products.
- Collaborate with the Open-Source Compliance Officer (OSCO) to monitor FOSS usage and compliance across projects.
- Ensure QA best practices are followed in the team
- Is responsible for maintaining the FOSS corporate repository, where the FOSS components allowed for usage in MT products are managed.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving or rejecting requests for the introduction of new FOSS components
- Support the business units with the usage of Software Composition Analysis tool, ensuring that FOSS components are managed through Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for continuous validation.
- Promotes FOSS adoption in MT and contributes to projects by developing features, fixing bugs, and collaborating with the community
- Provide training and guidance to software development teams on FOSS policies and best practices.
- Knows FOSS licensing mechanisms, and the particularity of strong copyleft and weak copyleft licenses.
- Can assess if the usage of a specific FOSS component complies with the overall proprietary application license.
- Act as a point of contact for inquiries related to FOSS compliance and licensing.
What You Need to Succeed
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent education.
- With minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of software development (e.g. .NET, C++, Java). Can contribute to FOSS projects by implementing modifications to the FOSS tools.
- Knowledge of software security processes (SCA, SAST, DAST, Penetration Testing).
- Knowledge of Secure Software Development Life-Cycle related processes and in general with practices like the NIST Secure Software Development Framework.
- Familiarity with Vulnerability Databases and Scoring Methodologies, like CVE, NVD and CVSS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Platform Support and Maintenance
- Understand the Target Support Model (scope and service level agreement) set by the Platform Lead.
- Master the relationship between the configuration and master data setup for each business units across the Group.
- Support each business unit related to system configuration, user management and master data creation/modification.
- Identify recovering issue and work closely with the line manager for possible solution/action plan to reduce the ticket volume.
- Always adhere to Universal Core Model and Master Data Governance document.
Functional and Technical Support
- Perform system health check, manage back end and schedule integration events.
- Deep dive technical issues related to the systems and come out with effective resolution.
- Assist and monitor any integration issues related to system or applications connected to it based on the runs schedules.
- Analyse errors and fix issues (notably through transaction maintenance) or assign/coordinate with different teams to fix the issues.
Customer Satisfaction
- Require meeting the following Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the Prudential: First Response Time (FRT), Average Handle Time (AHT), Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT)
- Proactive in progressing the ticket status within the JIRA ticketing system.
- Be proactive in reaching out to business to understand the request of ticket issues.
Reporting and Analytics
- Support ad-hoc reporting request from the local business units across the group.
- Understand the report limitation for each module within the system, including Analytics.
- Documentation and Knowledge
- Become the knowledge centre of technical expertise and S2P best practice.
- Maintain the fields and configuration mapping document (by modules), covering all business units across the group.
Support Coupa Supplier Portal
- Support any technical issues or queries from suppliers related to Coupa Supplier Portal.
- Establish and maintain, frequently asked question with answers to assist the business users.
- Maintain the functionality document of Coupa Supplier Portal to assist existing and new suppliers.
Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of a Source-to-Pay system and its related functionalities like SAP 4HANA Ariba
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree as a minimum academic qualification
- A fast learner, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced
- Committed and believes in providing quality service to business
- The ability to clearly articulate solutions to complex technical problems in a clear and simple way

Software has moved to play a central role in network technology. From outstanding routing implementations like Bird and FRR to overlay networking technology such as OVN/OVS and Cilium, from kernel with SwitchDev to userspace with DPDK, from P4 to OpenFlow, the relationship between network innovation and software continues to deepen. We are building teams to bring the very best open source networking software to market in a well integrated and opinionated stack that brings the latest hyperscaler innovation to end users and enterprise customers.
We work with networking silicon providers to optimize Ubuntu and related applications for their ASICs, boards and appliances. We aim to provide a complete open source stack for data center networking, from bare metal through virtualization, container and serverless, and also to address IoT networking systematically.
You will have a good chance of success if you are an outstanding software engineer, passionate about networking, with a special interest in the interface of hardware ASICs for acceleration and software for innovation and control. We value experience in open switch initiatives such as SoNIC and DENT, and upstream experience with components such as routing, kernel networking, eBPF, DNS, firewalls and load balancers. Our selection process is rigorous and requires work from the candidate as six to eight interviews over a period of months. We look for excellent academic results and a commitment to quality, resilience, documentation, security and performance in your work.

We're looking for individuals who can help build a thriving community, contribute to a broad range of technologies, and contribute to the deployment of Ubuntu, Ubuntu Core, Private Clouds, MAAS and Kubernetes across a broad range of devices and use cases.
Location : we have network software engineering roles in APAC (Top-of-Rack switches) and Americas (SmartNIC/DPU) time zones.
What your day will look like
- Work with the most advanced operating systems and network application technologies available
- Participate upstream and deliver the Ubuntu SoNIC stack
- Collaborate with public clouds and network silicon providers
- Design and implement the best software-defined networking experience for the data center
- Write high-quality, well-designed, fast, secure and well-documented software
- Debug issues and produce high-quality fixes
- Collaborate proactively with a globally distributed organization
- Contribute to technical documentation to make it the best of its kind
- Display technical leadership internally, towards our partners, and in the open source communities
- Influence open-source projects and communities
- Work from home, with global travel twice a year for company events of up to two weeks duration
- An exceptional academic track record
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
- Drive and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations
- Knowledge of networking: architecture, design, and protocols
- Understanding of Linux networking, from kernel to user space
- Fluency in C/C++ and at least one of Rust, Python or Golang
- Professional written and spoken English
- Experience with Linux
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
- Passion, thoughtfulness, and self-motivation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments
- Ability to travel twice a year, for company events up to two weeks each
- Familiarity with existing open source networking technologies: SONIC / SAI, kernel (e.g. eBPF, AF_XDP), DPDK, Switchdev, OVN, Open vSwitch.
- Familiarity with data path hardware acceleration protocols and interfaces, such as RDMA, RoCE, iWARP, NVMe, SR-IOV
- Computer architecture knowledge of x86, ARM, and RISC-V
- Experience in complex IP network engineering and implementation
- Experience with virtualization technologies, e.g., QEMU, KVM, etc.
- Previous contribution to open source projects and community involvement
- Performance engineering and security experience

From outstanding routing implementations like Bird and FRR to overlay networking technology such as OVN/OVS and Cilium, from kernel with SwitchDev to userspace with DPDK, from P4 to OpenFlow, the relationship between network innovation and software continues to deepen. We are building teams to bring the very best open source networking software to market in a well integrated and opinionated stack that brings the latest hyperscaler innovation to end users and enterprise customers.
We work with networking silicon providers to optimize Ubuntu and related applications for their ASICs, boards and appliances. We aim to provide a complete open source stack for data center networking, from bare metal through virtualization, container and serverless, and also to address IoT networking systematically.
You will have a good chance of success if you are an outstanding software engineer, passionate about networking, with a special interest in the interface of hardware ASICs for acceleration and software for innovation and control. We value experience in open switch initiatives such as SoNIC and DENT, and upstream experience with components such as routing, kernel networking, eBPF, DNS, firewalls and load balancers. Our selection process is rigorous and requires work from the candidate as six to eight interviews over a period of months. We look for excellent academic results and a commitment to quality, resilience, documentation, security and performance in your work.

Location : we have network software engineering roles in APAC (Top-of-Rack switches) and Americas (SmartNIC/DPU) time zones.
What your day will look like
Work with the most advanced operating systems and network application technologies available Participate upstream and deliver the Ubuntu SoNIC stack Collaborate with public clouds and network silicon providers Design and implement the best software-defined networking experience for the data center Write high-quality, well-designed, fast, secure and well-documented software Debug issues and produce high-quality fixes Collaborate proactively with a globally distributed organization Contribute to technical documentation to make it the best of its kind Display technical leadership internally, towards our partners, and in the open source communities Influence open-source projects and communities Work from home, with global travel twice a year for company events of up to two weeks duration
What we are looking for in you
An exceptional academic track record Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path Drive and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations Knowledge of networking: architecture, design, and protocols Understanding of Linux networking, from kernel to user space Fluency in C/C++ and at least one of Rust, Python or Golang Professional written and spoken English Experience with Linux Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability Passion, thoughtfulness, and self-motivation Excellent communication and presentation skills Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments Ability to travel twice a year, for company events up to two weeks each

Familiarity with existing open source networking technologies: SONIC / SAI, kernel (e.g. eBPF, AF_XDP), DPDK, Switchdev, OVN, Open vSwitch. Familiarity with data path hardware acceleration protocols and interfaces, such as RDMA, RoCE, iWARP, NVMe, SR-IOV Computer architecture knowledge of x86, ARM, and RISC-V Experience in complex IP network engineering and implementation Experience with virtualization technologies, e.g., QEMU, KVM, etc. Previous contribution to open source projects and community involvement Performance engineering and security experience

The new role

Key Criteria:
- Extensive experience in software application development; experience with simple web content websites is not sufficient.
- Exposure to core web technologies such as Angular and microservices.
- Must have technical leadership or coaching experience to lead 10-30 web researchers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Web technologies and Web product development.
- Expertise in Web platform development, full stack technologies, front-end architecture, containers, microservices design and deployment.
- Experience with Agile methodology and design thinking.
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines (branching, unit test automation, system test automation, deployment).
- Expertise in web frameworks such as Flutter, React, and Vue is a plus.
- Expertise in backend and databases such as Linux, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Nest.js is a plus.
- Experience in full stack development, micro frontends, AI, VR development is a plus.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and people influencing skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Web researchers, including talent acquisition, development, coaching, and mentoring.
- Develop technology roadmaps for all Web-related products.
- Build capabilities and competencies of Web researchers to meet upcoming project demands.
- Provide leadership and expertise in Web-related product innovation, including:
- Development of web development best practices.
- Research & development of web systems architecture considering non-functional requirements (test automation, security, scalability, performance, etc.).
- Review and coach web researchers on system design, software frameworks, and tools.
- Review and coach on engineering practices and documentation.
- Assist product managers in project proposals requiring web expertise.
