We are seeking a talented and dedicated Service Maintenance Technician to join our team!

  • To attend servicing of the protection system installation.
  • To prepare for delivery of checklist by hand or courier to client.
  • To repair all minor fault found during servicing.
  • To repair electrical and mechanical fault upon request.
  • To prepare Asiamost Engineering Sdn Bhd Delivery Order after servicing and other job done.
  • To attend on-call after office hours.
  • To attend customer complaint if required.
  • To adherence to periodic servicing schedule.
  • To repair any fault or problem found on fire protection system installation.
  • To collect, checking prepare document and send fire exthinguisher for renewal at bomba client premise.
  • To involve any Bomba or other inspection and testing if requested.
  • To carried out job order, replacement part when needed.
  • To attend bomba inspection at premise client for Fire Certificare and Insurance yealy.
  • To report daily activities to your supervisor / manager.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Requirements

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment.

  • Candidates with 3–5 years of experience may be considered for advanced responsibilities.

Key Purpose of the Role: Deputy to Senior Service Engineer/Team leader/ Technical Specialist/Manager

Strategic Outcome: High level Technical Support for the team / technical problem solver

Key Responsibilities:

1.Technical Support

  • Responsible for representing the service solution to customers and at field events such as troubleshooting, repair, modification, calibration, verification, etc
  • PM / Cal for all level equipment
  • Installation of equipment
  • Attend to break-fix and customer technical issue
  • Attend to customers' technical inquiries and provide technical support to ensure customers' satisfaction
  • Interact with customers’ technical teams
  • Develop customer's staff by providing technical training.
  • Self-Improvement initiatives : commitment to complete assessment and training plan within timeline.

  • Firsthand understanding of technical equipment
  • Knowledge of weighing or analytical instrument

Overview

ZINNIA is searching for a Field Service Engineer (Electrical) based near Kuala Lumpur. Candidates should be a team player with good knowledge of Electrical Engineering . Promising candidates will have the opportunity for training in Singapore .

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of food packaging and food processing machines.
  • Troubleshooting machine errors when problems arise.
  • Assist with machine installation and parts delivery.
  • Daily report to SG HQ on job schedule, jobs completed.
  • Liaising with colleagues for parts-related logistics matters.
  • Report customer feedback.
  • Weekly reports of jobs done.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Hands-on repair experience required.
  • Language(s): Conversational English.
  • Candidates will be remunerated for their own Motorbike and/or Car.
  • Skill: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) required.
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience in Machinery Repair/Maintenance required.
  • Willing to travel for job assignments.
  • Food processing machines require the handling of beef and pork.

As we are in the food manufacturing industry, you should be comfortable entering raw meat factories .
