Key Responsibilities
· Incoming & Receiving
- Inspect materials for quantity, quality, and revision control, highlighting any discrepancies or damages.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (IQA) for material inspection and approval before storage.
- Ensure proper labeling, barcoding, and systematic placement of materials in storage.
· Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts and periodic audits, and reconcile variances.
- Perform monthly cycle counts on high-value items to ensure inventory accuracy and safeguard critical assets.
- Track component usage and support FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize obsolescence.
- Publish weekly/monthly inventory reports to track critical parts, support production continuity, and facilitate management review.
· Process & Compliance
- Maintain organized and safe warehouse operations in compliance with ISO standards, safety protocols, and ESD handling.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate records and documentation.
- As a team, implement continuous improvements to optimize warehouse flow, space utilization, and efficiency.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Escalate and resolve supply chain or documentation issues promptly.
- Provide feedback to suppliers and logistics providers on delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management or related field.
Experience:
2–4 years of working experience in warehouse operations, preferably in electronics or manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with incoming inspection, inventory management, and shipping processes.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices (FIFO/FEFO) and documentation standards.
- Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling for sensitive electronic components.
- Ability to prepare and manage shipping documents, invoices, and customs clearance paperwork.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
