We are currently looking for an experienced Safety & Security Manager - to join us in this exciting journey.
The person will lead and manage the security department.
Your priority will be to ensure that the safety and security requirements for the guests, associates and property is enforced at all times.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be constantly hands on and ready to lend expertise within other departments of the hotel.

**Key Qualifications and requirements:**
- Demonstrate a passion and proven results in safety and security and experience in leading a security team to achieve success
- Previous hotel experience with hotel properties or serviced residences that have over 200 rooms will be preferred.
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in Tourism or Business
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to converse in other languages will be an added advantage
+ Possess a wide range of contacts within the security services of Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur
Be able to demonstrate a strong working experience with building fire life systems, safety protocols and equipment

- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Safety or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English & Malay.
- Must possess a valid Safety and Health (S&H) certificate such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent recognized qualification.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistant and support to HSE (Manufacturing) in developing in Occupational Health and Safety
- Management System to achieve OHSAS 18001 certification.
- Prepare and implements the Department Annual Safety Scheme and issues monthly reports.
- Participates in the Monthly HSE Meetings and report all incident/accident and schedule Safety Committee Actives.
- To carry put counter measure mechanism to prevent from reoccurring.
- Plan and support out daily inspection on production, 5S, hostel, firefighting equipment and electrical wiring in good working condition.
- Plan and Conduct Tool Box briefing every morning section by section.
- Supporting government reports preparation.
- Support to prepare training schedule on Safety, Health and Environment for all staff.
- You are required to perform other tasks stipulated by department heads.
- When necessary, you are required to perform other tasks as stipulated by Department Heads.

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Safety and Health Officer, you will be in charge of creating and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for clients.
This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities
**What You'll Do:**
- Promote a positive and proactive culture to influence stakeholders, and to ensure compliance.
- Assist with implementing and reviewing playbooks, and procedures. Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives drive program consistency and efficiency.
- Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
- Track operational and safety risks. Develop and manage strategic risk management strategies to avoid potential incidents.
- Monitor injury, illness, and incident reports. Provide recommendations on how to prevent risk.
- Monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental regulatory compliance within the account. Work with management to create strategic solutions that improve and maintain compliance as required.
- Work with stakeholders to identify potential concerns. Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to responsible functional managers.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
**What You'll Need:**
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in industrial sites. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
